NIT JAMSHEDPUR as an Opportunity

Ocurse in itself is very interesting and for me, it has always been to learn about my surroundings in which we live or the basic facilities which we avail, that's why I opted for civil engineering. The faculty-to-student ratio is optimum enough for everyone to learn. Professors are mainly from IIT or NIT backgrounds. Two exams were taken in a semester and even a person who studied properly in the last week of the examination could pass

Many companies came for providing internships to third-year students. Providing great exposure to the students. A few companies are JUSCO, NHAI, Adobe, etc. The roles of different branches were different.

Students become eligible for placement when they pass the third year of the course. There are many companies visiting the campus naming them all is not possible but some of them are Adobe, Google, etc. Overall offers made are sufficient enough for the placement of a maximum number of students. The highest package of the college is about seventy lakhs and that of my branch is about twenty lakhs. The average package of the college and my branch are about eleven lakhs and eight lakhs respectively. Almost all students are placed through college placements. My plan after the degree is to get into a well-paid job.

Fees taken by the college are genuine enough and if you are economically weaker then the college provides for fee remission which helps a lot of students. Other scholarships such as Ekalyan are also available.

3 annual fests are conducted the college sports fest, cultural fest and tech fest. Sports Fest is held in the month of November whereas the other two are held in March and April. Almost all books related to the courses are available in the library. Classrooms are well equipped with a blackboard, a whiteboard and a smart class setup. There are many sports teams and clubs in the college which overall lead to personality development of the student

Hostels for each year of the b tech course provided are separated. The rooms of the hostel are quite spacious with a wardrobe, study table and a bed already provided. The meal provided in college mess can be improved though is sufficient to fulfill basic needs. College hostels are easily available and affordable.

The admission process starts with the entrance exam taken by JEE. Students who have secured 75% marks or more are eligible to appear in the entrance exam. You will get the application form on josaa site. There are two types of reservation for admissions caste and home state reservation. The admission process provided by josaa is up to the mark. No improvement is needed according to me.
