Remarks

Infrastructure needs to be improved. Library needs to have better quality and quantity books. Labs need to be more equipped.

Entrance Preview

I entered the college through cet conducted by ouat. They take 50% of your entrance marks and 25% each of your 10th and 12th marks to calculate your total marks.

Course Curriculum Overview

4.5

The teachers are very learned and helpful. Apart from statistics and economics teachers from every Department are always available and give their best. Quality of conducting Practicals can be improved. Labs need to be better equipped. In 4th there is no classroom study but rural agriculture work experience, industrial learning program me and experience learning program which are kind of paid internships. You can work under different projects during your pg and phd.

Internships Opportunities

During 4th year we had rural agricultural work experience and industrial visit for which we got a steepened of 18k over a span of 6 months. Then we had experiencing learning program Me in which we operated a business module in which we got 3/4th of the profits we made.

Placement Experience

2

Placement is not very good. About 25 to 30 students got placed from a batch of 170 students. Some of the companies that visited the campus are Ppl, olm, vnr seeds, pradaan. Package ranged from 2.5 lacs to 3.6 lacs. Some students also get placed in various seed, chemical industries or NGOs by offcampus selection. Most students prepare for higher studies like mba or pg(jrf, bhu, jnu etc). Some also prepare for banking and civil services. Most of us don't get a job immediately after completion of graduation. So we prepare for jobs during masters.

College Events

4

We hosted the all India agrifest 2yrs ago. Apart from that we have about 4 functions every year in college. Hostels also have their own functions. They are not very grand like in b schools or engineering colleges but our students work hard to make every function a success.

Fee Structure And Facilities

Very less expensive as compared to other technical subjects. It is less than 50k for free seats and about 2.5lacs for cost sharing seats. Hostel fees is around 12k per semester(both fooding and lodging).

Fees and Financial Aid

College doesn't help in getting loans. It did provide many scholarships through state govt like medhabruti, prerna, jindal etc.

Campus Life

3

There are ample opportunities. If you perform well you can go to national level as well.

Hostel Facilities

3.5

I was a day scholar. But hostel campuses are good. There are seats where you can sit during evenings, take a walk or play games like volleyball or badminton. Market, malls, halls everything is in near vicinity. Hostel functions, welcome, holi, diwali etc are a hell lot of fun.

Alumni/Alumna

College does organize several activities and meetings to provide a platform for students and alumni.

Exam Structure

Exams in ouat are quite laidback. Most of us start preparing for exam just 2 days before the exam for mid sem and about a month before external. It is enough to get you a standard cgpa of above 8.0.

Faculty

4.5

Faculty is well learned. Most of them have got their pg and phd degree from reputed Agri institutes and are involved in various research works and projects. They are quite helpful and caring.

So in India it's relevance is very high. This curriculum consists all type of subjects like agronomy, soil science, economics, marketing, pathology, genetics and breeding, horticulture etc. this course is more based on practical than the theory. Course Curriculum Overview:

As India is a agricultural country most people depends on agriculture so I choose this course that I think it might have more scope. Through this course, we covered both theory and practice; we planted crops, prepared the field, applied manure to the soil, and irrigated the field. The difficulty is not too hard, and there are about 4 exams in a year, which is very good. In this course we must visit the village and interact with village people know their problems and try to find solutions. In our college we are less interactive with village farmers.

Course Curriculum Overview:

Agriculture course is highly vast and informative. This course actually provides economic knowledge about the food we consume in our daily life and also provides the information about how they are grown and taken care of by our hardworking farmers. And talking about the difficulty level it's actually easy and we just have to get involved in this course as much as we can. Improvement this course requires is to give proper guidance to our farmers and also to provide them with proper wages they deserve.
