Remarks

Finally after considering all the factor of the college I would rate the college to be 6 out of 10 which is average rating.

Entrance Preview

I have wrote the CET exam. Since it was a old college and was near to my home. I was interested to become a software engineer to achieve that i selected the course

Course Curriculum Overview

It is a wonderful course in IT sector and i was pre-planned for higher studies and this course will make my walk on a flower. No there was no research initiatives.

Internships Opportunities

There are no internship provided by college but they encourage for internship for the student who are interested in going.

Placement Experience

Placement are growing year by year which is quite average. out of 10 four student have placed.tech Mahindra, merchant navy. 3 lacks to 4 lacks per annum.

College Events

Every year there is only one fest conducted by college which is called as tech spark. it's quite good on rating of 9 out of 10. Yes college authority is to support for the fest.

Fee Structure And Facilities

Fee structure was affordable for all sector of people. People who are interested in doing engineering can offered.fee that people pay are quite worthy. Fee structure=25000+CET fee + exam fee. Per semester. Which is good..

Fees and Financial Aid

Yes college would provide scholarship for the student who have the CET ranking vit in 1k.

Campus Life

College use to support and send the student who have talents and send them to competition conducted by vtu. Yes i got a chance to expose my talent in college fest which was supported by lectures.

Hostel Facilities

Am not staying in hostel and as per my knowledge hostel facility are quite average where the rooms are not maintained in standard . Hostel rooms are shared between 2 to 3 students.no there are no any PGs. As per my knowledge 40k per year. Food is average and it is not maintained properly.

Alumni/Alumna

There are very interactive with their juniors. Yes college us to appreciate for them for the interaction n taking a part in fest.

Exam Structure

Obviously, colleges has to follow vtu board exam pattern which is quite hectic and labs are conducted twice a week in a batch series in time span of 3hrs

Faculty

Faculty are average at their subject . I can rate them 6 out of 10 which is average. Both teaching and teaching faculty was friendly enough. They use advance technology like projector.

Good College with Supportive Faculty and Decent Placements

Placement Experience:

Placements at RNS Institute of Technology are good. Students become eligible for campus placements from the 6th or 7th semester. Many companies visit the college, including IT and core companies. Some of the common recruiters include TCS, Infosys, Wipro, Accenture, and a few core companies for EEE. The average package is around 3 to 5 LPA, and higher packages are also offered for top-performing students. The highest package can go much higher depending on the company. Around 70–80% of students get placed, mainly in IT roles. For EEE students, core placements are limited, but there are good opportunities in software roles. The college also provides training and support for placements. After completing my degree, I plan to get placed in a good company and build my career.

Nitte: My review on my college

Placement Experience:

Most of the students get placed from the campus placements. Students get eligible for campus placements from the fifth semester. Companies like HP, Infosys, Wipro come for recruiting and make offers from 3L per annum to 30 L per annum. Around 70 percent of the students get placed through campus placement. I plan on working for a dream company after completing my degree.

About my college

Placement Experience:

After completion of the course students are divided to teachers and the food industries are come to college and interview us and the student is eligible they can select. Some standard food related companies are visited nestle, ITC mysore , sulawines and some other companies also. The CGPA of the students is 7.5 or more is good below this also get selected but more than 7.5 is good. My plan is after completion of course then do work and get some experience in the industries and some of the time I am going to select a product and launch it over the world.

Placement Experience:

They start conducting placements activities from the 2nd year itself like AMCAT preparation, skillrack, etc. So the students become eligible for campus placements from 7th sem itself. Many companies like TCS, Diggibyte, Zoho,etc. and the offers are from 3 lakh to 16 lakh per annum. Percentage of students getting placements are about 90% My plan is to get into the IT sector as i have an interest to explore and enhance my technical skills

Course Curriculum Overview:

The curriculum is very unique, and very new, we are not taught irrelevant subjects and topics like every university does, Polaris school of technology (PST) is a new gen college which mainly focuses on tech, producing the best engineers not amongst india but amongst the world, it's aim is to produce engineers who are better than IITians and MITians, all these specifications influenced me to choose this course/curriculum When it comes to real-world applications, Polaris school of technology(PST) gives us real-life problems and scenario based projects through evaluations which help us in the future and helps us to build a proper approach for problems and train us to be the best. We have two main exams per sem which would be conducted every 3 months that is ½th of the sem, we have a total of 8 sems, so total 16 exams, our exams would be difficult for other college students, but not for us as we have the best mentors.

A moderate college

College is literally not in Bangalore, if you are staying somewhere in Central or south Bangalore,better not to opt for this. Really long distance and buses here are full like hell, roads are also dangerous. Better to opt for some good colleges near bangalore...Read More
