I wanted to join a big campus college in the outskirts of the city. But this college is quiet opposite to it.

Course Curriculum Overview

I chose this course because my father insisted to do so. I found this course interesting later on. The faculty are more than sufficient to monitor/teach a class. They are available even after college hours for doubts and clarification. They also conduct online classes for the completion of the portion. Faculty are properly qualified to clarify our doubts. Term exams happen twice a year. They are easier to pass as the material are already handed in.

Internships Opportunities

We have some companies which recruit us most of the time such as TCS, wipro, Accenture, etc. We have done our mini project in 3rd year and a major project in 4th year. Mostly they expect us to explore the projects which indeed is a practical learning.

Placement Experience

I am currently pursuing 3rd year. I've heard TCS, wipro and a few other colleges approach placements. Students are eligible for campus placements from 3-2 onwards. My plan after college is to pursue MS.

Fees and Financial Aid

The fee is around 94k for an average student. If you have reservation benefits, you'll have to pay 7000 rupees which is the special fee. Financial assistance is provided for projects performed with faculty.

Campus Life

The campus life is very enthusiastic. The campus is small and is situated in the city lanes which makes commutation better but affects time in traffic. We have a couple of clubs which organise events now and then. They can be on education or seminars from other college faculty like so. Sports tournaments are organised every year and are appreciated with prizes. Classrooms have digital teaching.

Admission

My admission to Matrusri Engineering College happened through EAMCET Counselling. I had to undergo the EAMCET exam and secure a good rank to get into Matrusri Engineering College. The process of application at the college happens in the cellar. They provide application forms and the fees will be immediately transitioned.

Placement Experience:

Placement opportunities start from the semester, with companies that have visited our college including Accenture, Capegemini, and Amazon. Training is provided from the first year, focusing on Data Structures and Algorithms (DSA). Students qualify for placements based on their performance in monthly and weekly tests. There are two groups: one is called the Product Batch, and the other is the Service Batch. there is a 40% of students getting the placements my plans after degree to get a good placement from college.
