- Our college has a very small but we get to see all the highly advanced labs with fully new equipment.
- our college has many clubs like dance music and photography where we get to meet people from various backgrounds and various ideologies
- gender ratio is quite decent in our college and there is no specific gender discrimination or domination in our college
Dislikes
- the faculty is experienced but they still stick to their old rules and do not get updated with the current generation and stick to their consevrative thoughts
- the course curriculum is updated but not to the extent we expected and wanted the syllabus to be
- we do have placement training sessions but they are not upto the mark
Course Curriculum Overview
the course curriculum is modified from the previous versions which our seniors had studied and the several subjects such as c language,python have been made mandatory in order to stay relevant with the job market in current market trend and to focus at our department we have got some upgraded labs and equipment according to the changes made in the syllabus.
Placement Experience
Students are eligible for the placements from 7th semester. Many companies like TCS , Accenture ,Cognizant, Tech Mahindra and Infosys,etc.The highest package from our college till date is 25lpa, and the average package comes to 10lpa.the placement percentage always exceeds 80%. Currently I am planning to move out to Germany for Higher Education to complete my masters in ECE stream.
Fees and Financial Aid
The fees is around 1lakh rupees every year for Bachelor of Engineering in Electronic and communications engineering and i avail the state government scholarship of around 35000 every year and the extra fees that is paid for the examination, placement training, skill development and extra fees like NBA accredition fees which adds upto a sum of 15000
Campus Life
We have annual fest called URVI, and technical fest called SADHYA and most of the times they are held together in the July month.We also have culutural fests like Cine Fiesta thats takes place around the year end in the month of December.We have E-Classrooms available eveywhere in the campus with a whiteboard for projector and each classroom has its owm desktop. We do have many clubs that are run by students from the college like MCC - which handles and organises all the events happening in the campus and wh also have other lubs like photography club which takes the responsibility to cover the event mainly and we also have Music and Dance clubs in our college.
Admission
I always wanted to join this college since my childhood because its the nearest to my home i kept wondering about this college and always wanted to get admitted here,apart from this college i recieved an confirmed admission from SASTRA University,Thanjavur but due to some personal and financial reasons i was not able to make it into that college.Most of the students get admission in to my college by an eligibility exam called TS-EAMCET that is conducted by the state government.
Faculty
we have 1 faculty teaching to 70 students in a single class. the faculty are approachable but not at all the times sometimes they might solve your doubts and sometimes they wont you cannot gurantee the response from faculty.
Night Life
Nightlife is like a bit prohibited in the college becuse the college is situated in a Residential Area, so we dont have any events happening in the night times but locality is very much safe to be here and hostels are very near to the campus.There are many places to hangout in the college such as the Garden Area beside the canteen and the badminton court etc etc.
