Remarks

The main disadvantage of this college is there is no scope for cultural and physical development . There is no sports events organised and no proper ground to play sports . Overall experience was good all these years and campus is too good.

Entrance Preview

I was admitted to the college through KCET quota.There was no interview direct admission according to KCET rank.I picked ECE branch since it was my favourite subject.

Course Curriculum Overview

ECE is one of the best branch in this college,teaching is normal as seen in other colleges.Practical is not given much importance and many teachers don't have practical knowledge.Some electives is choosen by staff itself

Internships Opportunities

Yea the college used to invite some internships but most of them where IT based companies , generally very less number of people will get selected for internships . The average stipend amount is about 10 k per month.

Placement Experience

Our college is famous for placements.The placements usually takes place in 7 th sem starting and continues till 8th sem . Almost 90 % of the students gets placed and even the placement officer is too good he tries is best to bring more companies to college.

Fee Structure And Facilities

College fees was about 18 k in first year ,gradually it increased year by year and now it is 23 k . It was affordable when compared to surrounding colleges and even exam fees was included inside the tuition so there was burden of paying it again.

Hostel Facilities

Nope i was not residing in hostel but i do frequently visit,one room is shared by 3 people and as per them food is not upto the mark

Exam Structure

Whatever exams are here to burden us but there was enough gap between each exam.If concentrated well then scoring is not big deal

Faculty

Many teachers are over qualified and some are not even qualify to be,usually doubts are cleared after the class ends.Some teachers have knowledge but they are able to convey it properly.Overall the staff is approachable and will try their best to satisfy others.

Placement Experience:

In the 5th semester, we have TCS training and placement are available and We have Placement cell they provide job-oriented programs, and VTU Belagavi University also provides campus placement offers they are reported companies are visited for hiring like TCS,Wipro,Infosys, NTT data, etc. They hire only those people having 6 cgpa and no backlogs

I have joined Ribbon communication an IT company. The working environment is very good. Freshers can learn and acquire great knowledge here very happy to work in this company. I am working in the PSX SVT team it's a good experience.

Journey at PESITM

Placement Experience:

From the 7th semester onwards you can attend campus placements. And many companies will visit and selection will depend on you. Since this year it was online the competition was huge. I think the highest package was 10LPA and the average is 3.5 to 4.5. Many got placed in different companies with different roles. My plan is to work in an MNC.

GSSS is very good in placements. We have companies coming in for hiring right from the 6th semester. Even in the tough times of Covid-19, many companies had conducted virtual campus hiring in GSSS. The highest package offered so far was 19 LPA by Amazon and the Average package is 3.5 LPA.

RNSIT in my two years.

I didn't score that well in my entrance exam and got this college through management seat. I chose this college because compared to others it has a good infrastructure and the campus life is good. There are rules here but not so strict that makes a student hate the college. Placements also are good(not the best but still manageable) and importantly it was in our budget. The hostel is present inside the campus so there's no issue of travelling from the hostel to the campus in the morning or evening. Its in a quite developed area so there are many amenities present nearby including grocery stores, pharmacies and hospitals all in walking distance. The admission process seemed quite ok since mine was through Management and it got done in a day without us having to come back again and again. The exams accepted for my course are JEE,KCET,COMEDK the most popular one that students get in here is KCET followed by COMEDK....Read More
