Course Curriculum Overview

I did choose this course because of my interest and the faculty students ratio is a maximum of 68 students all faculty members' qualifications are M. TECH. And all the faculty members' teaching is very nice and after 2 units the term exam and is very difficult for me. For cracking this.

Class Size: 500Course Fees: INR 150000 per year

Internships Opportunities

The company name is Neco jaiswal industry and the role offered to me is CNC machine operator. And the stipend is 15000 per month. And it is a very huge company and all types are machines in their company. And it gives high production.

Placement Experience

The placement of my college is average, after the 7th semester, we are eligible for campus placement. The average package is 2.5L per year and the highest package is 10 lack per year the percentage of students getting a placement is above 60 percent.

Fees and Financial Aid

The fee is around 1.5L but I get a scholarship for study and the name of the scholarship is post matric scholarship and there is financial assistance, and yes I have got a job on campus with a stipend to provide my college for me.

Campus Life

The name of the annual pretibial and we celebrate in the month of. March. In the library, books and journals are always available. And there are many sports and extracurricular activities in our college.

Admission

I gave MHTCET entrance exam for B. TECH mechanical engineering, and I'm finding an application form from an internet cafe, and the application fee is 350rs. And the date of the application is July 2020. The benefit of the reservation is I was do admission to my favorite college. Nagpur Institute of Technology.

Interview Experience

Yes, I'm facing group discussion and the interview questions are, what is your strength, what is your goal, where do you see yourself in the coming after 5 years, etc like this very long process of criteria of admission.

Placement Experience:

From 7th Sem, students are eligible for placements and undergo placement training. Many companies has visited so far but the big ones are Godrej, BEL, Framatome, etc. The highest package for mechanical was 7.5 LPA and the avg package was around 5 LPA with a majority of job roles as GET. Placement Experience:

If one wants direct placements in comapnies such as Wipro, Cognizant, Hexaware, TCS and many more, SIT is the place. Highest is still unbeatable as one student in 2023 got a paycheck of 50 lakhs per annum from SIT. Even the average is over 10 lakhs now as most students are placed through SIT placements cell.

Course curriculum is also good and it is explained in detail on the college's website and there are labs for the courses which made learning fast and easy. Relevance(industry alignment)->8/10 The curriculum is designed to keep up with the industry needs especially in fast growing fields like computer science, management, design and pharmacy. Updated course such as AI, machine learning, cybersecurity, data science and 3D printing are included for tech students. Industry exposure depends on the students initiative it's not equally strong in every department. Comprehensiveness-> 7.5/10 First year courses focus on building strong basics in science, mathematics and communication skills. Insightful Vision for Nagpur Institute of Technology

The admission process was offline as the student need to visit the campus physically to complete the admission process. There are both ways like getting admission directly to the college and by the CAP-rounds also. The CAP round admission are done through the MHTCET exam that is conducted by the State of Maharastra. If the student belong to Maharastra state and the domicile is of Maharastra only then they get the concession in the college fee. The admission process starts in the Month of May-June only. Each semester is of 6 months within that there are 2 Mid-sessional papers, 1 Pre-University paper and 1 Internal practical exams is conducted by the college and the Semester exam and the External practical is conducted as per the nagpur university guidelines. Good but students and faculty needs to be improved

I was given MH-CET entrance to get admission. The cutoff was high in comparison to other branches. But I got the eligibility criteria and also had category benefits in the cutoffs. The college itself provided everything from the application form to assisting with the admission process. But as an improvement, I think that multiple forms and repetition should be considered because many people come from very long distances so it should be convenient for them too....Read More
