Course Curriculum Overview

The faculty members are really very supportive and always there to guide the students. The way they explain the topics are really helpful to understand. There are midterms and final exams. Study well follow the teachers and they will guide you with the best.

Internships Opportunities

There are ample internships you get here. Top companies come and pick up students. You have to just clear the exams. They ask basic questions which enhances your knowledge too. St. Xavier's is best in this matter

Fees and Financial Aid

The fees are average and I don't think it costs higher as compared to the way education and job opportunities the college provides. There are ample job companies like Accenture, Capgemini, tcs, etc which hire students

Campus Life

The campus is really very beautiful and amazing. There are sports areas and extracurricular activities. There are events and fests organised that keep the students focussed and active. There are several groups like NCC, NSS, and Rotaract Club which I am sure you will enjoy a lot. There is Library available where you will get ample books.

Admission

The entrance is based on the class 11 and 12 syllabus. It is very easy and based on knowledge. You can score good marks and enhance your knowledge too. The process is very simple and convenient to use. You can easily fill it out through its website.

The course curriculum of guru nanak College dhanbad is quite good and revelant as per the university pattern .it covers both theoretical and practical knowledge which helps in understanding the subject deeply .the syallabus is updated time to time according to latest trends, which makes it useful for higher studies and competitive exam also. The subject are arranged in a proper way semester wise so students don't feel much pressure .exam are held regularly,mostly at the end of each semester and internal tests are also taken for practice.the difficult level of exams is moderate,not very hard if you study regularly

Placement Experience:

Students from semester 3 are eligible to sit for campus placement. There are even some companies which ask for fresher where student of any semester can apply. The specialised course like CA CS MBA has more placement opportunities. Many companies visits like GARNIER, TCS, GOVERMENT COMPANY _JHALSA. recently around 20 Students are selected in TCS with pacakage of INR 3Lakhs . There is no percentage requirements. Every particular can sit for campus placements. It depends on their skill and ability to impress the interviewers so that they can be placed. Basically there is Group discussion(GD) round and personal interview (PI)round which after qualifying one can get placed in the companies.

A Modest College Life , Learning & Limitations

Placement Experience:

This College provides campus placement, but only a few companies come, only 2 or 3. From the 5th or 6th semester, students are eligible for the campus placement. The average package of my college is 3.57 LPA & the highest is 7 LPA. My plan is to appear for banking after completion of my degree.

My Low Budget College life in Master at St. Xavier's College Ranchi

I choose St. Xavier's College college over any other college because of it's name (brand) plus it does regular classes and completes it's syllabus on time compared to other colleges who doesn't provide regular classes and never completes their syllabus never on time is a different matter but the whole syllabus never gets covered and most of it is left out. I am comparing it to the Ranchi College, ranchi which is under Ranchi University name as it never does regular classes and never completes it syllabus, it has no proper faculties for each subject, don't do any other extra curriculum activities hardly ever does any practical classes plus there is no internship opportunities....Read More

The best collage in ranchi

I had applied for the Doctor Shyama Prasad Mukherjee University Ranchi. And i got selected there also but i found st xavier's college ranchi is better then that college as this is autonomous applied new education policy of fourth year graduation. I didn't get rejection as i had filled only this two college in ranchi for bachelor's degree.
