I choose this course because this branch provides the best placement and internship opportunities as compared to any other branch. student: faculty ratio is 14-18. you will face high academic competition in this branch as compared to other branches.

Internships Opportunities

In core Cairn oil and gas, SLB, Halliburton and Exxon offer internship opportunities. they offer 20-40000 per month. Knowledge is more important than your project in the core branch internship. English speaking is preferred.

Placement Experience

After the 7th SEMESTER college placement gets started this year 234 PPOs were offered. A total of 1154 job offers were distributed among the 1082 students placed. in addition to this, 11 international offers were made.

Fees and Financial Aid

If you lie on the sc st category then of course your fee will be 0 rs. there are many scholarships too depending upon parents' income and your CGPA. In this branch, core companies offer approx. 20 LPA. SC-ST has only to pay hostel and mess fees.

Campus Life

SRIJAN, CONCETTO, HACKFEST, KHANAN and PARAKRAM are the fests which are organised by this college. It contains a Central library. In summer there is a sports camp organised by college which includes healthy food too.

The overall Admission process is all clear on the JOSSA website. for each particular course, collage give the details. fees, application form and all dates are given on college websites. As usual, if you deserve it then surely you will get a reservation benefit.

from 7th semester onwards students become eligible for campus placement there are lot of companies who used to visit our campus like microsoft gives 15 to 20 offer, amazon guves 13 to 15 offer , accenture gives a lot of offer like 30 offer and many more in recent year placement 64 lpa is highest and average of 12.5 lpa they use to offer forSDE role in last year 93.14percentage of total student get placed my plan is to get a full time job as software developer

INSIGHTS OF BIT MESRA

Placement Experience:

From 7th sem onwards students are able to face placements. Comapnies such as ZS, Deloite AB in bev microsoft visa comes here and normally takes 1-3 students. The highest package may vary from 40-50 lakhs and average is 4-5 lakhs. Internships opportunities are quite low here. In chemical enginnering only till now out of 120 students 20-30 got placed including out of campus palcements. I am hoping to do mba after pursuing the degree as there is less comapny visit for core branches.

Great college if the money is not a problem for you!!

Placement Experience:

Placements are good for core branches here at Bit mesra, as compared to other colleges, about 90% students got placed as per I know from seniors, the highest core package is around 20 LPA, main top recruiting companies for core chemical are reliance, jindal and many more!

Since I am a diploma holder in civil engineering, I had to choose the same branch in B.Tech also. But actually I chose this college because my diploma friends were taking admission in the same college. The college needs some improvements, but the surrounding areas need more improvement.

Placements start 6th semester. Companies TCS, Wipro, Deloitte and local companies. Average package is 4 to 5 LPA. I plan to work as a full stack web developer or i will also apply off campus for better softer roles.

BIT : A Freshman's Perspective

The placement cell of our college is quite active and provides internship opportunities and pre-placement offers for students in their third and fourth years. Life in NSU

Placement Experience:

Students can get placement from there 5th semester and if they perform well in the company they get internship they will get placement in there only. Many companies visits but some famous companies are Reliance, Byju's, Ujjivan,Justdial, Tcs and mamy more. Planetspark is the company which gave highest package of 8lac rs to a student. Student without backlog gets placement easily. I am planning to do a job and save some mony and do my pg so that i could get better opportunities in jobs.

All You need to know about IIT(ISM) Dhanbad

As this is an IIT, To get admission here Firstly You have to take the JEE mains exam. At our time there used to be 4 rounds of the JEE Mains exam and Your maximum percentile among all 4 would be considered for a cutoff It was around 90% and to be eligible for give JEE advance Exam. The JEE advance exam happened in July, and its results were also released in August. After Qualifying JEE Advanced exam too you have to go through JOSSA counselling. In JOSSA counselling you have to give your list of colleges priority wise and you will be allotted college based on your AIR. After JOSSA counseling of 6 rounds, you will be allotted a college and then you will receive an offer letter from a college. For me, at IIT Dhanbad after taking admission firstly we were introduced to college through an orientation session with our respected director. After this we were called to campus for pre-registration for our course there we had to submit our documents and verify our identity. That's it !!...Read More
