Remarks

Good thing is that it's a central university with many departments, faculties, hospital, hobbies center, games court, stadiums, gym . In short a mini city in Banaras. Bad thing is we don't have department so the funding issues.

Entrance Preview

B.H.U conduct their own entrance exam. I qualified PET(PG Entrance Test) and was top ranked. Everything in this university is awesome. The single problem with our course is that this is self finance and still don't hav any separate department. So funding for participating in competition, seminars, events are headache for us.Altogether when u get a degree of BHU, it increases your reputation and confidence twice.

Course Curriculum Overview

4.5

It's partly classroom party field study based. We get different assignments to complete in real time circumstances. Five subjects in each semester. Apart from that an education tour, 3months internship reports, viva all are included. We have an elaborate syllabus with many volunteering opportunities during the program.

Internships Opportunities

Well we all get good internship training But not the stipend.Every student get a well reputed company to join for internship.Because we are not placed from campus, thats why stipend not paid.

Placement Experience

We celebrate World Tourism Day every year. Apart from that, we organize seminars, symposium, workshops throughout the year.National symposium on emerging trends in tourism Workshop on entrepreneurship, Destinations training etc.

Fee Structure And Facilities

It's feasible and reasonable. Bt we need to contribute when we are trying to organize any event. Our fee per semester is Rs.25000+ university feeWe have four semester means 1lac. Total fee + hostel/accommodation fee.

Fees and Financial Aid

The University is not offers any scholarship to us But it enables us to get scholarship from state govt. Many of students get half fee refund and many students get full fee refund frm the govt. Schemes.

Campus Life

3.5

Gender ratios is equal. We celebrate festivals together, attain workshops in different departments too. An annual fest is organized every year called Spandan, it's 4- 5 days long inter department cultural competition on dance, music, drama, painting etc.University conduct time to time workshop for gender equality, tolerance. Apart for that, We have anti ragging committee which is highly active.Though university don't have any student council, But students want their council. So a bit political activity occurs here. But it's safe in university campus. Oh yes university has a women's redressal cell. Health diary and free health check ups nd medicine nd treatments for us.

Hostel Facilities

3.5

Hostels in the campus are good enough according to the fee.we have limited seats for our course.Rooms are on sharing basis.Wi fi facility is there. In hostel and depts too.

Alumni/Alumna

Yes university and the alumnies both are proud to have them. Time to time alumni meet, international alumni meet, and informal alumni meets are organized. They help in placement too and share their work experience with us .

Exam Structure

We have a computer lab, a library etc. Exams are on semester basis.Exams are not hectic if you attained classes sincerely.

Course Curriculum Overview:

Since I wanted to become an English Professor, the course really helped me a lot in getting an insight into English Literature. The professors are very encouraging. The curriculum not only relies on the traditional method of teaching but also various co curricular activities are conducted to prepare the students for the real world. Each student is given an opportunity to prove herself. As the exams are conducted annually we get a lot of time to prepare accordingly.
