review of WIT solapur

as heard from alumni's mechanical and civil departments were the best in college the infrastructure and facility and lab workshops were major sites of attraction in the department there are 60-70 students in each class and section. major all the faculty holds masters degrees in respective fields teaching methods were those old school no new techniques exams were conducted twice a year and about exams they were difficult to pass.

after 6 semesters students were offered campus placements. mass recruiters like infosys tcs tech Mahindra came to campus but campus placements were low I would say the highest package on campus was 7lpa on average the package was 3.5lpa. percentage of students getting placed was only 40%. after degree plan was for further studies.

initially, when I joined college it was 97,000 only tuition fees excluding the hostel but later there was a hike of around 10,000 per year rest of all things were fixed excluding the exam fees. there was one central govt. scholarship program once a year of near about 30,000.

the annual fest was conducted in the first week of January but it was just a formality no special events or programs happen no tech fest is conducted. the library is quite large but has no direct access for the students to books and journals. no amenities in class and projectors were arranged on demand in special cases. sports were majorly cricket and basketball. many social groups run by students.

eligibility of course was 10+2 with PCM with JEE mains exam you can directly file an application on the college website or contact the faculty or directly reach out to the college there were no application fees. I didn't get any reservation benefits during my time it was smooth but for now no updates.
