Remarks

3 courses cse, mechanical and chemical engineering. Application forms and other information to find out on the website of Ahmedabad university. No improvement and a good and simple admission process. Both on the basis of jee and boards.

Course Curriculum Overview

Cse was chosen due to personal interest. Faculty are highly qualified and cooperative ane very innovative and interesting teaching methods. Mid-term every 1.5 months and 3 months end sem and 2 quizzes in between 2 midterms.

Class Size: 120Course Fees: INR 692000 per year

Internships Opportunities

Many opportunities are there with capstone projects under the guidance professors of professors and seniors. A good program and system have been set up and a very efficient system is been working for maintenance of the system.

Placement Experience

7-8 semester students are eligible for placement. And other data are available kn website of the Ahmedabad university website. Details of the highest and average packages are also available on a new website with a list of companies.

Fees and Financial Aid

No fees hike and scholarship for students needing financial aid. Others can avail of merit-based financial aid. And others can avail apply for mysy gov scholarship. All these are based on overall family income.

Campus Life

Many club activities and other activities are going on day by day here. All clubs are been growing day by day with the support of students and seniors as well as professors. The classrooms are extremely big and comfortable.

Worst educational experience of my life

From 6th semester we became eligible for campus placemet many companies asked to have cleared all the backlogs in the respective subjects of the students Companies visited are e spark biz , webcode genie , shaligram , casepoint ,alpha e ,ignek ,lanet , silvertouch, invonix , brevitaz , tatva soft the offers are generally between 2 to 5 lakhs per annum 5 lakhs being the higest achieved by our students Placement percentage used to be very high when chande sir was in tpo it was around 60 to 70 percent but in my batch it shrank to just 20 percent I have started an import export company after getting the degree i am planning to clear gate and go for the masters now i am quite finically stable and ready for any challenges life throws at me

Placement Experience:

Placement in this college is quite good and it also depends on the grades of the students. Highest package goes to 14 lakhs per annum and the average package goes to 5 to 6 lakhs per annum. As the students enter into their 7th semester the placement process gets started and the students will go into th selected companies in their 8th semester and if the worked well their they can also get PPO which means that they can do their job for permanent time. Percentage of the students last time who got placed in big MNCs company goes to 87 percent and the rest students got their placement in some small company. My plan after my b tech degree is to get higher studies in Mtech by score a good mark in the GATE exam which is going to be held in February month.

Our college provides great campus placements. This year the average for B.tech ICT was around Rs.18,00,000 pa. And the highest package offered was Rs.82,00,000 pa by Atlassian. The placements are really great here. There are generally 200 company visiting the college. But talking about the high-end companies they are about 20 companies visiting the campus. The students are eligible for campus placements from 3rd year itself (that is 5th/6th semester) and above. I applied to many colleges in ahmedabad, rajasthan and mharashtra. I applied to Nirma, Daiict, LNMIT. I was rejected from Nirma and Daiict because their cut off was high and my jee rank was around 20,000. I didn't went to LNMIT because their fees is very high and it was far from my hometown in different state. So I finally went with Ahmedabad University they approached me. Honest College review: Ahmedabad University

I choose this college because of the high placement oppurtunities and the campus of this college. In comapre to other colleges my college is forward in terms of management as well as the learning outcomes. It has various clubs to participate and lot of addictional activites to do in the campus. I couldn't make it to the other colleges that is mainly becuase of the marks that I scored. I applied to 2 other colleges, first in new LJ college but because of campus and course curriculum I didn't join the college and second was indus university, I left that college cause my first preference was AU. I also applied in nirma univerisy and PDEU but I got mechanical and I wanted to do CSE so I didn't take it. I did not get rejected but I was offered a different branch and I did not want it. The admission in AU in course enginnering happens mainly on 2 things that is JEE and ACPC.
