Course Curriculum Overview

It was my dream to peruse law. A very decent faculty-to-student ratio. Really abled faculty with a really enthusiastic teaching process. The exams and tests were always on point with moderate to high difficulty.

Class Size: 60Course Fees: INR 340000 per year

Fees and Financial Aid

Kiit has a really high fee structure and provides ample opportunities for scholarships, internships, campus placements, etc. With the rise in expenses, KIIT made sure to not overburden its students. I haven't got a campus as I have yet to complete my course but our university provided us with enough internship opportunities.

Campus Life

Kiit invests a lot in the college fests as a scope for its students to socialize with each other. Massive libraries and availability of numerous sorts of books. Multiple amenities in the classrooms make it a student-friendly atmosphere.

Admission

Eligibility required KIITEE. Found the application on the official university site. I didn't avail reservation as I belong to the general category. Very user-friendly admission process no changes or improvements are necessary.

Placement Experience:

In the 9th semester the students become eligible to sit for placements. Barucha and associates, Delloitte, Wadia and Gandhi, HDFC Ergo, Bajaj Finance are some of the companies which offered placement at our college. The Highest package was 15 lakhs and the average lpa was 4 lpa Around 50 percentage of students got placed.

Placement Experience:

The placement opportunities are pretty good actually. Almost 35-40% of the students get placements and many others get pre placement offers. Even the average package is 10 lakhs per annum. Reputed companies like Indus Law, Trilegal, Khaitan visit the campus.

Life in NLUO

Placement Experience:

Placement is quite ok in NLU Odisha, mainly company visit the campus during final year of student for placement. Many students secure Pre Placement offer while internship during their penultimate year or last year. I think average package will gone upto 7-8 Lakh per annum.

The placement are good as per my knowledge and inside college discussions, and the students are eligible to sit for placement after completion of 4th semester of LL.B program and after 8 semester of 5 years BA LLB. Mainly tier 1, tier 2 and tier 3 botique law firms come for recruitment and certain companies dealing in banking sector and mining sector come for in-house counsel recruitment. Even is one does not get placed in companies and firms, the can apply in the offices of best legal minds of country and become associate in their chambers, they do pay well. Placement Experience:

From 4th year students become eligible for campus placements. Various different companies and law firms have visited. The highest paid package was from Microsoft of 50,000-60,000 per month. and the average is 30,000 per month. Students with 8 or 8+ CGPA gets the placements. My plans are of becoming a legal advisor.

In 5years integrated course of Law, students are eligible for getting placements in 9th sem out of 10th. & in 4year courses, students become eligible in 7th sem out of 8th as well. There should be no backlogs of tge student & the student should score more than 6CGPA of marks. After getting my degree I have planned for joking the academics lecturership in thus University.
