Freshness of Sea and Inspiration of College

The best thing about college is that it is located at bandstand. The scenic beauty never tires you. Also there is no senior/junior thing. I talk to seniors are my friends and treat juniors as the same so it's the most welcoming college I have experienced.

For me it was JEE-mains , I score a decent score in JEE. My first choice was this college because I had heard a lot about the faculties. I easily got in first round through my AIR. I always wanted to be Computer Engineer and hence the choice of this course.

Fr CRCE follows syllabus of Mumbai University. There is almost balance between practicals and theory although theory over powers a little. The College is famous for it's research papers in various departments in IEEE and other publications. First year is general for all branches. For the Computer Department Elective is in 6th semester (2nd half of 3 year) for either French/German/Project Management/Operation Research. I personally chose German as I wanted to learn a new language

Yes from the above mentioned companies some of them even take 3rd year students for internship in their firm later providing them with PPO. The stipend ranges from 15-40 thousand. Apart from this, every year there is an internship expo in our college where various startups come and offer 2nd-3rd year students placement

The college has a reputation of 100% placement which is pretty cool. The major companies that come here are Morgan Stanley, BNP Paribas, JP Morgan, TCS, Accenture, TIAA, Oracle, Amazon and many others

Euphoria is our Cultural Feast and Crescendo our Technical Feast. Although they are different in their own way, they are very big. Technical being open to all the colleges . Apart for these our college hosts CRMD( A national level debate competition) where in participants from colleges in Mumbai Pune and even Delhi come to participate. Our college has a football team who has secured good position in University and State level matches. Along with that we have intra college football, cricket, badminton for both boys and girls. The Student body along with college management takes full responsibility of the organization

The FEE is not low but not too high. It is around 1.2 Lac per year which is decent enough and also average fee in most of the colleges in Mumbai. There a scholarships ( Merit as well as Minority) for students to avail.

College has no such scholarship of its own. But the companies coming for placement offer scholarship to merit students. Also all government scholarships are open to avail based on the qualification criteria. The college provides all the details that are required to take loan from any local/national bank. I avail scholarship offered by TCS while some of my friends availed Government scholarships

College stands on a high platform when it comes to extra activities. We have participated in national conferences. Also as mentioned earlier have a nation debate and football team. To compliment acting skills we have drama club. Our college has various councils that help students to grow in various technical and non Technical field apart from academics

No I don't live in hostel. But there is a Boys Hostel of the college at SantaCruz. I don't know much of them, but they were sharing or single depending on the student and Food was decent. There are also private PGs where outstation students can stay

Student Alumni interaction has no specific event. But every sem we have 3-4 alumni coming to college and speaking to students in respective classes. Sharing their experience and how to go about in educational line. Alumni hold a good position in getting new companies for placement in college so yes they helped in development of college

I couldn't say they were chilled, but they were exciting. Not to tiring but yes challenging your thinking and understanding. Before the University Examz we had two internal examz and couple of surprise assignment to check our progress. Sometimes it becomes scary but if you have a Understanding about the subject then no worries. Also one better thing is student culture is very understanding. All your classmates have a sense of family and help you in your weak zones.

Professors are qualified from Masters in Engineering to PhD in respective department. They also have international papers published. So Qualification wise they are pretty awesome. We have lecture session, PPT session and special presentation session where students explain what they understood of the topic.
