What Students Say

Likes

The things i liked here is atmosphere because it is situated outside the city.
The teachers very experienced,friendly and the encourage on studying.
Our college is near Golkonda and taramati resort so we can visit in weekends.

Dislikes

Exams are very strict so we have to work very hard.
Campus is only 13 acres and playground is very small

Course Curriculum Overview

I chose CSE because I have a passion for the subject. Faculty in this college have done PhD and their teaching is excellent. There are 2 term exams before semester exams which are held 1month apart. We can pass the exams by regularly attending classes.

Class Size: 63Course Fees: INR 140000 per year

Placement Experience

From the 6th semester, you will become eligible for campus placements. Companies like Google, oracle, Amazon, etc visited the campus. the highest package offered is 65lpa from Google and the average is around 9lpa for cse and it and 7lpa for Ece. Almost 90% of students are placed here.

Fees and Financial Aid

Fees here are 140000 per year and you can get full fee reimbursement by getting 10000 below rank in the Eamcet scholarship given for the needy this campus placements are good in this college. You can get an internship in 3rd year

Campus Life

The annual fest called Euphoria is held 2 days every year it is held in the month of April. Sports like carrom, table tennis, and volleyball are played. A social group named nss is run by students from 2nd year. Every classroom has a projector in which ppt is shown

You can get a seat in vasavi college of Engineering by getting a rank in TSEAMCET, JEE MAIN. The application form dates and fees are mentioned in vce.in the website. For eamcet based students fee reimbursement is available.

Thinking Beyond Academics and Placements , life at BITS Pilani Hyderabad Campus.

Placement Experience:

Placement here are going on pretty well considering the recession that hit the market in recent years,student become eligible for placements from the first sem of their final year , typically 7th semester for single degree students (BE) and 9th semester for dual degree students (Msc+BE),as per the recent cycle around 310+ companies including Google, MIcrosoft,Goldman sachs etc. had visited campus with offer majorly ranging from 18 to 27 lpa , the highest package last cycle (domestic) was for 65lpa and average aroun 21 lpa. The perecentage of students getting placed is above 80% and remaining usually go on for pursuing masters or already have a PPO from the Practice School Internship.I personally will be sitting for placements in my last year and will be hoping to land a good offer.

Placement Experience:

Internships starts from spring break of 4th sem and placements start from spring break of 6th sem ( if you don't get a PPO ) Many big companies like Microsoft , Oracle , DeShaw and Qualcom visit the college. More than 80% of student that are eligible for placements get placed while the others get off campus placements or opt for higher studies. My plans after getting th degree depends on the CTC of package I get offered. If it is not upto my expectation I will pursue higher education abroad.
