Remarks

the campus is quite mesmerising. the seniors are good and helpful . all in all the college provides awholesome experience.

Entrance Preview

VIPS college is affiliated to IP University and conducts a simple CET test where there is a negative marking of -1 per incorrect answer and +4 per correct answer. The exam is easy enough and if you score a rank of about 2500 and are a Delhi student then you can easily get it but if you are an outside Delhi student then the cut off would be higher. There is no interview as such. Law is quite a noble and respected profession, it is also quite interesting.

The course is interesting. There are frequent workshops.

Internships Opportunities

yeah the college provides internship from second year onward. There are great law firms that provide internships here.

the placement cell is there but as such there is no 100% placements.

there are lots of events that happen in the college. Also, there are various other fests celebrated by the university.

The fees is a bit high about 90 K per annum but the facilities are also good.

There are a lot of pgs near the college. There are no hostels as such by the college.

Exam Structure

The exams are quit hectic and you won't even realize when the semester flew by. There are regular exams consisting of viva, internals and an external per semester. The teachers help a lot by providing accurate notes and previous year question papers.

The teachers are quite experienced and helping. They are mostly pursuing Ph.d. and are always there to help whenever required.

Delhi University bringing a diverse opportunity.

Course Curriculum Overview:

Being very passionate about law it brought me closer towards the subjects i thought I'd never like. It's vast curriculum has made me like a lot of subjects and has also given me a real life applications and further academic achievement however I feel like the curriculum should focus on law subjects from the very beginning and teaching could be improved by further interactive session between students and faculty.

Decent college for five year law

Course Curriculum Overview:

The curriculum is good for the real world applications as the course teaches us about the practical work. They can improve their course by adding more moot court practices during the semester and by giving the students the opportunity to practically utilise the bookish knowledge they are gaining.

Course Curriculum Overview:

The curriculum is very much practical knowledge based and helps the students to grow there legal reasoning which helps them to prosper in the profession. Also it helps them to read and correlate the real time judgements being passed, this curriculum prepares the students to understand the reasoning behind the judgements. Though the curriculum is practical knowledge based it still requires many improvements as these case are old and some of them are even overruled, also the we have to write very long answers which needs to be changed as new methods like ooen text book exams can be adopted to improving.

Curriculum is well planned having a proper mix of both pratical and theoretical knowledge, internals are conducted for 30 marks and 10 marks for personal skill development activities. Teachers help out students at their best capabilities, so far the college experience have been pretty decent, internals are much more difficult and challenging than external exams

Placement Experience:

After 2 years of integrated courses, you can become eligible for a job. In law, there is no company, but if you have good communication skills, you will be placed in one of the high courts or supreme courts under a senior lawyer. I don't know much about packages. My plan was to go to Oxford University for further studies.

VIPS is a top quality college!

I applied in VIPS through IPU Entrance and I also applied through CLAT and even CLAT scores are acceptable in VIPS. VIPS Delhi is best for learning!

Admission are through both the entrance be it CLAT or IPU as typically it's a free hot central for students who have decent rank in both the entrance. GGSIPU all the colleges I checked out and without a debate Vivekanand School of Legal Studies wins it hands down. Admission through CLAT scores and even IPU entrance scores are accepted.
