Likes

Campus is very good although its old campus but it is very beautiful.
Central Library is one of the centre of attraction for students.
There are good internship,placement opportunities.

Dislikes

Its connectivity is not so good,there is no airport,one has to go durgapur or Ranchi.
Mess food's quality is good but it's taste is not so good like it's decent.
Administration is quite strict mainly for 75% attendance.

Course Curriculum Overview

Mechanical Engineering is one of the oldest, most diverse, and most versatile branches of engineering, you get to know about the motion of various objects. It is related to many fields like astronomy, defense, the automobile industry, etc. In our the faculty: student ratio is very good. more than 350 teachers are available. Professors are mostly well qualified and mostly have done their Ph.D

Class Size: 140Course Fees: INR 263500 per year

Internships Opportunities

As a 1st year student, I didn't get any internship. But there is a good internship opportunity for 2nd-year pass-outs. After a summer vacation of almost 2.5 months, they have to appear in an internship exam. You get a decent stipend ranging from 15000 to 1500000.

Placement Experience

Students are eligible for internship and preplacement after 4 th sem. And for placement, they are eligible from the 7th sem. Many companies visited and almost all students get the offer. You must not have any backlog and D.A. for eligibility.

Fees and Financial Aid

The tuition fee is Rs.100000. and other charges may change. There are many scholarships and financial assistance one can refer to the college website. For SC/ST students there are no tuition fees. Many alumni-sponsored scholarships are also available.

Campus Life

There are many fests like the Srijan annual cultural fest, Concetto technical fest, and many more. Many clubs are also there literally for any kind of hobby from cultural, and sports to technical clubs. There is student Gymkhana which is a student-representative body.

Hostel Facilities

We have many hostels. 7 for boys and 4 for girls. Diamond is the oldest hostel there. For the 1st years students, there is Jasper but now a new hostel has been built. Mess food is decent in taste and its quality is good. The hostel is mandatory.

Hostel Fee: INR 4000 per year

Admission

The admission process is the same as other IITs.Firstly you have to pass in Jee mains exam and qualify for Jee Advance and you have to appear and pass through jee advance. You can get details related to jee mains on the NTA website and jee advance related details on jee advance website where you can get all counseling-related details. For JEE main passing percentile is nearly 87 for Open, 75 for OBC/NCL, and 55 for SC/ST.

BIT : A Freshman's Perspective

Placement Experience:

Students are eligible to sit for placements from the 7th semester.A variety of companies including TATA Steel, JSL, JPL, Samsung, TCS and ABG visit the campus.The highest package offered is to Mining branch by vedanta which is 16.5 lpa.In core branches like mechanical and electrical the placement percentage reaches to almost 80%.

Beyond the Brochures: Fun Days at BIT

Placement Experience:

The placement cell of our college is quite active and provides internship opportunities and pre-placement offers for students in their third and fourth years. It invites reputed companies like Microsoft, Google, Amazon, Accenture, IBM, Intel, Infosys, Cognizant, Deloitte, and many more. The average package is about 12LPA and highest package is about 52 LPA. Branches like CSE offer even higher, lucrative packges.

A Genuine Review

Placement Experience:

From 5th Semester onwards student are eligible for internship but from 7th semester they are allowed to sit in campus. Various companies like PayPal, Wipro , cognizant ,TCS ,Genpact ,Amdocs etc. Highest Package this year is 35 lpa and Average Package is around 7.5 lpa. Around 90% of students from circuital branch and around 80% students from non-circuital branch has been placed so far this year. My plan is prepare very smartly for campus placements and bag a very good PPO from are tech based company.

Students become eligible for internship after 4th semester , after 6th semester the companies start coming for regular placement For cse the average was around 20 lpa with median being 16-17 lpa Companies that generally visit are - atlassian, Amazon, flipkart , BNY Mellon, cisco, Texas Instruments etc Around 140 offers were made and in a batch of 120, 100 have secured placement Placement percentage is around 92% Highest package - 65 lpa atlassian (on campus) 1.23 cr rubrik (off campus) Lowest package - 7 lpa Average - 18 - 20 lpa

The Underrated NIAMT

Placement Experience:

Students become eligible after 6th semester for placement drive. Companies visited are Vedanta, JSW, Mahinda, L&T, Ashok Leyland etc and 95% of students are placed till and still few companies are yet to come. Heighest package offered was by Vedanta of 13.95LPA while lowest was from an ADC Company of 3LPA which makes the median package around 8LPA for metallurgy branch and 7LPA for Mechanical. Every year around 98% of students get placed ( Rest 2% either opt out or any seruius indisciplinary issue ) Planning to get a job first then along with preparation of GATE for PSU.

Is Arka jain University right fit for you

Placement Experience:

on every occasion they will charge the students, there is no good placement, every year they increase the exam fee, students are not regular its poor then government colleges just pay penalty and your attention will be full, its like correspondence course they are running huge but and regular power cuts unhealthy canteens, political motivated administration and management. There expenditure in infrastructure is huge which is best for love birds its like park or garden. Overall all not dedicated to education.

A two years review of Central University of Jharkhand

Course Curriculum Overview:

Course curriculise fully designed on national education policy 2020. Focuses more on extracurricular activities than core subjects. Because reply is designed on the basis of UGC guidelines which is a good thing for different competitive exams that are design by UGC. I will say semesters are to short that all till now my all four semesters has been glitter in about 4 months each that should be of duration of 6 months.

Must Read before coming to IIT ISM Dhanbad

I had secured AIR 5860 in JEE Advanced, so i had applied for all CSE, ECE, ELECTRICAL, MNC and related branches in Top IITs. For my rank, I got IIT ISM Dhanbad in the last round. I had also got IIT Kharagpur Manufacturing Science, but I choosed to go for furture rounds as i thought doing a circuit branch in IITs is better. I could not make it to colleges that i wanted to as my rank was 5860 and belonging to the GENERAL category, the rank is too high to get into top branches of the top 7 IITS. The admission process is JEE Advanced, Elgibility is that u need to have good rank in JEE Advanced, the rank required varies from branch to branch but i can give you and idea, for our IIT ISM, CSE -> 2000 to 3500, MNC -> 3500 to 4500 , ECE -> 4500 to 6000 and so on....Read More
