Likes

The faculty and the environment here is very good. The ambience of the college campus with all the greenery and nature interaction here is very soothing
Library has many books and all the facilities which helps a studious person to concentrate and study easily and for long time without any tension
Students here are very cooperative and the teachers are very good guides and helpful which I liked the most as it is important to have a good relation with teachers

Dislikes

There is no proper basic facilities of drinking water and toilets. Social science faculty does kot have a water cooler.
There is no proper management and information is provided very late for any kind of notices which causes students to even miss the deadlines sometimes.
Infrastructure is the worst and no proper seating arrangement and cleanliness and many things need a repair. There is no use of the smart class projectors as they are never used.

Course Curriculum Overview

I would rate the faculty over here 7 out of 10. Though they are helpful and provide proper guidance but some teachers are not very experienced. The course syllabus taught here is very much interrelated with any entrance exam so it is quite helpful in preparation. Exams are held timely and are of moderate difficulty provided you study.

Fees and Financial Aid

Fees is very affordable and scholarships are also available if you have proper documents. There are no campus jobs that I am aware of. PhD scholars might get stipend according to their project work. College does not provide with any proper internship opportunities , students will have to find one themselves.

Campus Life

There are no functions AT ALL! They only celebrate republic and independence day and have no fun activities. Though there are many inter and intra faculty level competitions but no parties or any kind of freshers or farewell which kind of lower the spirit of college life. Library is good has many useful books which can be issued using the college id. There are no social clubs or groups only one instagram account for college students where the seniors help the juniors.Classrooms are not properly maintained and are not the best.

Admission

Admission process was not very hectic. Only one entrance test MCQ type was taken and after qualifying it there was an interview in which general knowledge questions were asked. Application forms and all the related information is available on the college website.

?I dont remeber clearly about the eligibjlity process but i think from the sem5 students are eligible for the placement campus im not sure about it ?many companies like Pan India ,Sbi ,axis bank etc visited in the campus ?the avarage package i have seen from the student got the 4 to 5 Lpa And the hight i think its 13Lpa ?60% PECENTAGE OF STUDENTS getting placemnets ? my plans are diffrent ,after completing my degree i want to go further for the film making

Remarks:

Any of my siblings studied from this college which gave me a clear view of the environment of this college from the start. It was also very close to my home making it easier for me to commute daily. And as I always wanted to study in an all girls college, this seemed a better option. It had good faculty and infrastructure making it different from other colleges around.

The college is in my hometown so close to family and friends. No moving out having the comfort of living with family. Apart from this good syllabus structure. I was getting to learn so much more here than in other colleges. The reason i came back from college in Shimla, it was purely due to homesickness.
