I chose Computer Science Engineering because of my Interest and good placement Stats. Total of 124 students Out of 100 boys and 24 girls. Qualification of faculty members is up to the expectation, They have done ph.ds in their subjects. All midterm and end-term examinations are conducted on time.

Internships Opportunities

Ample opportunities for internships from 3rd year. Good companies visit campus for providing internships. Due to the good location and connectivity of the college, many companies visit for internships and placements.

Placement Experience

From 3rd year onwards students are eligible for Campus placement. All branches show above 95% placement. The average package of the CSE branch is 24LPA, and all branch average is 16LPA. Ample companies visit campus.

Fees and Financial Aid

Fees vary from course to course here, Foe my course the fee is reasonable, and also financial assistance is given. my fee for the course is, Rs 62,500/- as tuition fee, Rs 25,500/- as Hostel Fee, Rs 16,000/ as Mess Fee, Students with a Family Income of less the 5 lakh can avail of 2/3rs fee remission on tuition fees. Ans Students with family Income less than 1lakh avails 100% fee remission on tuition fee.

Campus Life

Annual culfest un conducted each year which is the biggest fest in East India. A 3-story building is dedicated to the library which is well maintained, and the availability of books is good. Fully centralized AC classroom with high-tech facilities.

Admission

Minimum 75% in Intermediate Examination. Entrance Examination - Joint Entrance Examination Mains Counselling - JoSAA Cutoff (All India Rank - Category Wise) - CSE - 7k (General) CSE - 15k(OBC) CSE - 25k(SC) CSE - 35k(ST)

Overall Review of NIT Jamshedpur

Course Curriculum Overview:

The curriculum exam ready for students of mechanical engineering it focuses on industrial level exposure and for other competitive exams like gate and IES with good faculty who teaches almost all concepts. There are labs for each subject in which we get real world application knowledge. Also course is updated regularly as per the requirement of industry . The course can we improved by making course more practical rather than a writing all things on practical it should include project for students. Frequency of exam is that in every 15 days there is a exam with moderate to difficult level.

7th Semester students become eligible for placements. The highest package is offered by Rubrik in 2025 of 1.41 CR(domestic) High paying jobs are mostly for SWE/SDE roles. Percentage of students getting placed in CSE/AIML is 75, ECE 69, EEE 60, Mech 58. My plans after gettting degree is to get into job sector only for a while. No such higher education plans as such.

At BIT Mesra third is like full of practice for placements and final year more of placements activities than studies. So, when all these things are in order placements obviously will be more or less certain and here they are certain only with almost 90% students are places through campus with annual placements of 8-10 lakhs per annum.

A Genuine Review

Placement Experience:

From 5th Semester onwards student are eligible for internship but from 7th semester they are allowed to sit in campus. Various companies like PayPal, Wipro , cognizant ,TCS ,Genpact ,Amdocs etc. Highest Package this year is 35 lpa and Average Package is around 7.5 lpa. Around 90% of students from circuital branch and around 80% students from non-circuital branch has been placed so far this year. My plan is prepare very smartly for campus placements and bag a very good PPO from are tech based company.

I applied for NIT Raipur NIT Durgapur and NIT prayagraj I selected this college NIT Jamshedpur because it has top class placement and the branch I was getting as mechanical engineering which is a decent branch. I got rejected from NIT prayagraj due to little less rank . The admission process of my colleges you have to qualify JEE mains with around 95 percentile to get any branch as a general student then you have to go for Josaa counselling in which you will be a lot at the seat . I did choose this college because it is quite old and reputed, being a govt college it has lesser fees and offered good placements, I got IIIT Lucknow as well, but didn't opt for it as it was quite new and didn't have proper hostel and residence facilities at that moment.
