What Students Say

Likes

Sports because our college have two large ground for outdoor game and one student activities Centre for indoor games.
I also like the greenery of our campus..it's provided as so much peace in exam season.
The tech clubs ..here you acn explore almost every tech field and you will get to know about the field that decide your future.

Dislikes

The maingate restrictions is the one thing that I hate most ..we are only allowed to 10pm outside the campus.
The regional politics... it's make me feel uncomfortable most of the time.
The most common thing..the one and only 75© attendance criteria

Course Curriculum Overview

I choose this course because I have a great interest in mechanical engineering. I don't know the exact faculty: students ratio but it is good in our college. all the facilities are highly qualified and most of them have great knowledge of there subject. I would say IITs are known for their first and weak exam.

Internships Opportunities

The internship is something that you have to work on your skills. the on-campus internship will only be for 5th sem students. so for that, you have some good skills till that. most of the top companies visit our campus for internships. like Google Sprinkler and Flipkart Amazon.

Placement Experience

For campus placement, only 4th-year students or we can say that 7th sem students have to register for it and their interview will happen when they are in 8th sem. And IIT is great in most of the branches. if you are a hardworking person you will confirm get a job.

Fees and Financial Aid

For 1 semester you have to pay at least 100k tuition fees and 30k hostel and mess fees. you will get a fee waiver if you are an SC, ST, student or your family income is less than 500k annually there is some scholarship program from the State government.

Campus Life

As you guys have some idea that IITs has the most wanted fest. So basically we have 3 large fests 1 is a tech fest called Cognito and 1 is Srijan and another is Khanan. And for sports, there are two grounds and many events for sports like Parikrama annual sports program and the famous GC inter-batch competition. There is may club for tech, culture, and social.

Hostel Facilities

We do have not a very luxurious hostel but it is a good one. we have to share our room with one of our batchmates and I think it is great because he is the one who will tack care of you when you fell sick and every hostel is guarded by some guard and there is one warden where you can make a complaint.

Hostel Fee: INR 30000 per year

Admission

To get into IIT at 1st you have to qualify for jee mains and then after jee advanced with a good rank. You will find jee mains form from the NTA website and jee advanced form from jee advanced website directly. Yes, there is a reservation for girls at SC and obc but you have to score a minimum cut-off. IIT has one of the most versatile admission processes I think.

BIT : A Freshman's Perspective

Placement Experience:

Students are eligible to sit for placements from the 7th semester.A variety of companies including TATA Steel, JSL, JPL, Samsung, TCS and ABG visit the campus.The highest package offered is to Mining branch by vedanta which is 16.5 lpa.In core branches like mechanical and electrical the placement percentage reaches to almost 80%.

Placement Experience:

The placement cell of our college is quite active and provides internship opportunities and pre-placement offers for students in their third and fourth years. It invites reputed companies like Microsoft, Google, Amazon, Accenture, IBM, Intel, Infosys, Cognizant, Deloitte, and many more. The average package is about 12LPA and highest package is about 52 LPA. Branches like CSE offer even higher, lucrative packges.

A Genuine Review

Placement Experience:

From 5th Semester onwards student are eligible for internship but from 7th semester they are allowed to sit in campus. Various companies like PayPal, Wipro , cognizant ,TCS ,Genpact ,Amdocs etc. Highest Package this year is 35 lpa and Average Package is around 7.5 lpa. Around 90% of students from circuital branch and around 80% students from non-circuital branch has been placed so far this year. My plan is prepare very smartly for campus placements and bag a very good PPO from are tech based company.

Students become eligible for internship after 4th semester , after 6th semester the companies start coming for regular placement For cse the average was around 20 lpa with median being 16-17 lpa Companies that generally visit are - atlassian, Amazon, flipkart , BNY Mellon, cisco, Texas Instruments etc Around 140 offers were made and in a batch of 120, 100 have secured placement Placement percentage is around 92% Highest package - 65 lpa atlassian (on campus) 1.23 cr rubrik (off campus) Lowest package - 7 lpa Average - 18 - 20 lpa

The Underrated NIAMT

Placement Experience:

Students become eligible after 6th semester for placement drive. Companies visited are Vedanta, JSW, Mahinda, L&T, Ashok Leyland etc and 95% of students are placed till and still few companies are yet to come. Heighest package offered was by Vedanta of 13.95LPA while lowest was from an ADC Company of 3LPA which makes the median package around 8LPA for metallurgy branch and 7LPA for Mechanical. Every year around 98% of students get placed ( Rest 2% either opt out or any seruius indisciplinary issue ) Planning to get a job first then along with preparation of GATE for PSU.

Is Arka jain University right fit for you

Placement Experience:

on every occasion they will charge the students, there is no good placement, every year they increase the exam fee, students are not regular its poor then government colleges just pay penalty and your attention will be full, its like correspondence course they are running huge but and regular power cuts unhealthy canteens, political motivated administration and management. There expenditure in infrastructure is huge which is best for love birds its like park or garden. Overall all not dedicated to education.

A two years review of Central University of Jharkhand

Course Curriculum Overview:

Course curriculise fully designed on national education policy 2020. Focuses more on extracurricular activities than core subjects. Because reply is designed on the basis of UGC guidelines which is a good thing for different competitive exams that are design by UGC. I will say semesters are to short that all till now my all four semesters has been glitter in about 4 months each that should be of duration of 6 months.

Must Read before coming to IIT ISM Dhanbad

I had secured AIR 5860 in JEE Advanced, so i had applied for all CSE, ECE, ELECTRICAL, MNC and related branches in Top IITs. For my rank, I got IIT ISM Dhanbad in the last round. I had also got IIT Kharagpur Manufacturing Science, but I choosed to go for furture rounds as i thought doing a circuit branch in IITs is better. I could not make it to colleges that i wanted to as my rank was 5860 and belonging to the GENERAL category, the rank is too high to get into top branches of the top 7 IITS. The admission process is JEE Advanced, Elgibility is that u need to have good rank in JEE Advanced, the rank required varies from branch to branch but i can give you and idea, for our IIT ISM, CSE -> 2000 to 3500, MNC -> 3500 to 4500 , ECE -> 4500 to 6000 and so on....Read More
