Course Curriculum Overview
This course has a really wide developing market. The world being technologically advanced is becoming a hub of semiconductors mainly silicon in the coming near future. This is why I thought this course would be great for knowledge and overall carrier development. The faculty are great in the college. Although the faculty is less for our branch in the whole state in general, our college makes sure we students face no limitations or barriers in our overall development. The faculty are kind compassionate and helping natured. Every faculty is a Masters or PhD holder, or pursuing one. Every one of them has their own teaching method and every student has their own learning, so I couldn't possibly generalize them into one review. I would rather advise you that if you find a compatible teacher, that's good.
Internships Opportunities
I am not sure about the specifics, but sometimes you get internships from many famous colleges like IIT Bombay, IIT Delhi, etc. With a stipend of up to 100000. Sometimes even the company you placed in provides training in the name of internship, with a stipend of up to 200000.
Placement Experience
From 3rd year or the 5th semester, students become eligible for placements. There is a separate department called the placement cell which handles every year's placements and internships. I don't have details on how many companies visited or the number of offers made, but our campus interview welcomes many top MNC companies like IBM, Microsoft, Mercedes-Benz, etc. Also provides opportunities to other branches like mechanical, civil, etc. The usual GPA of students sitting for placement range from 6-10. But given they don't have any backlogs remaining. After I complete my bachelor's degree, I plan on pursuing a master's and have minimal interest in sitting for company placements.
Fees and Financial Aid
The cost to study for me was 250000, but the cost varies depending on how you get in. I don't have a job. I pay my fees with the help of my parent's earnings and a student load called Vidhyalakshmi yojana for student loans.
Campus Life
The campus life is really great. We have a variety of clubs from the Higher studies club, Made in BVB(Entrepreneurship club) to cultural teams of dance drama, etc. College is more fun when you have more networks and wide social reach on campus. Clubs conduct various events regularly, which help us academically as well as personally. A different building is dedicated to the central library called CLITE. It has a huge variety of books. From subject textbooks of different authors to novels of your desired genre including self help books. The sports facility is really great here. Recently a new sports arena was built, an indoor stadium.
Admission
There are many competitive exams, but the main ones are KCET, COMEDK, and JEE. KCET and COMEDK require you to have a 12th pass marks card. Which gives you the eligibility to take up the competitive exams. Late when the exams are over and results are announced in the form of ranks, you wait for the competitive exams boards to conduct a process called counseling which helps you get a desired college and desired course through various options and helps in getting your college at lesser fees. I got into the college through the second medium COMEDK. It cost me around 250000 Indian rps.
