Colleg is good. I liked the college infrastructure.
Food available in the cantin is bery fresh
Teachers are very much cooperative and they are really good mentors

Dislikes

Sometimes it gets really rush while travelling
During rains it becomes difficult to travel collegr daily
Fees of the college is very high for a middle class student

Course Curriculum Overview

I choose this College because of its infrastructure and its placement. Exams were taken quite timely but as is not affiliated with Mumbai University exam portions are decided by the college itself and papers are checked timely. The faculty is really nice and also qualified they know their subject very well.

Class Size: 90Course Fees: INR 156000 per year

Fees and Financial Aid

College is having a 1,56,000 fess per year for engineering during our time. Various scholarships are available. You can avail of scholarships like EBC, and if you have good scores you can get a TFWS seat In college.

Campus Life

The college is having its own library. its library is really very huge. You can also borrow books and they make ID to borrow books. Surrounding is really chill. It is having a very good canteen, and very good quality food is available.

Admission

For engineering In the computer engineering field, the cut-off for cet is 92+ percentile and 90 in jee. The college has good infrastructure. The college is involved in many sports and it is based in a good area. Transfer facilities are easily available.

Placement Experience:

From 7th Sem, students are eligible for placements and undergo placement training. Many companies has visited so far but the big ones are Godrej, BEL, Framatome, etc. The highest package for mechanical was 7.5 LPA and the avg package was around 5 LPA with a majority of job roles as GET. Almost 95% students are placed. I'm preparing for GATE ME for higher studies

SIT is best engineering college of Pune!!

Placement Experience:

If one wants direct placements in comapnies such as Wipro, Cognizant, Hexaware, TCS and many more, SIT is the place. Highest is still unbeatable as one student in 2023 got a paycheck of 50 lakhs per annum from SIT. Even the average is over 10 lakhs now as most students are placed through SIT placements cell.

Course curriculum is also good and it is explained in detail on the college's website and there are labs for the courses which made learning fast and easy. Relevance(industry alignment)->8/10 The curriculum is designed to keep up with the industry needs especially in fast growing fields like computer science, management, design and pharmacy. Updated course such as AI, machine learning, cybersecurity, data science and 3D printing are included for tech students. Industry exposure depends on the students initiative it's not equally strong in every department. Comprehensiveness-> 7.5/10 First year courses focus on building strong basics in science, mathematics and communication skills. Later semesters introduce specialisation, electives, research projectsand soft skill training. The curriculum also includes personality development, entrepreneurship and innovation modules. A few departments could integrate new technologies fatser into the syllabus. i got in this college through mht cet and i wanted to go into tcet as it was near to my house and one of the main reason is placement.
