Course Curriculum Overview

4

I chose this course because it's one of the most developing courses in the country and also in the fields of job and works . Also in future it will be having a wide scope . Also you get to learn very interesting and mind boggling things which fascinate to learn more efficiently. For every batch of students a faculty advisor is assigned and for each class we have 40 students to 4 to 5 faculty ratio. Faculties are a level of Ph.D and assistant or associate professor levels and professor levels also. Their teaching methods are very sharp and to the point. Every three months we have midsems and then every six months we have a endsem . It's not very difficult but one have to practice and read daily to score prominently but a nights study would make you just pass.

Internships Opportunities

4.5

Different companies come for internships and placements . Most IT companies take students for interning them the IT Sector works enhance their coding skills. Also expose them to real world problems . Also offer stipend and stuff. For some branches a vast variety of research internshps are also available which are of great value.

Placement Experience

4

After fifth semester one gets eligible for internships provided by colleges and after 7th or 6 th semester for placements and stuff. Highest package through off-campus in ther year 2022 was 1.82 Cr per annum. And the lowest was 3 Lpa . Mostly 97 percent students get placed. My plans after getting the degree is to work for an IT company a big IT Firm.

Fees and Financial Aid

Fee structure is very simple for general candidates without any reservation and OBC candidates with their family income more than 5 lakhs per annum have to pay a full amount of 8 lakhs rupees. But for reserved candidates and candidates with proper documents they are benefitted according to college policies. There is very rare hike in fees mostly hostel and mess fees require a hike due to tender changes. For poor students also fee relaxation is there. No job on campus. College gives information on different scholarships one must apply wisely

Campus Life

4.5

There are mainly four fests conducted annually. Cosmopolitan, INNOVISION , Vriddhi , and NITRUTSAV. Conducted in different months according to institute calendar. These fests are of fun, joy, learning and entertainment. Library consists of a great variety of books and journals.Library is 3 - storeyed. With online and offline journals and books both readable and issueable . Classroom diverses in size but great comfort and cool. Sports there are numerous grounds and complexes for all kinds of sports and a swimming pool too. The club culture here is very vast and there are 70+ clubs at NITR .

Admission

To become eligible for the course in this college one have to clear JEE Mains with a minimum of 95 percentile for general candidates and for reserved candidates above 87 percentile. However, these records vary year to year. Also for general candidates a minimum rank of 37000 should be maintained and for reserved candidates one must secure at rank of atleast 60000. At first after qualifying JEE Mains one have to apply for this after the JoSAA Counselling and in CSAB rounds further. Wait untill you are allotted this branch . After that the colleges gives you a date when there is document verification and addmission and hostel allotments. Now once you have taken addmission fee payment is done but at JoSAA Counselling we pay some part of the fees to secure the seat. So including that we pay the rest amounts. The fees for all general candidates without any reservation and OBC candidates with their family income more than 5 lakhs have to pay the full amount of 8 lakhs. Reserved ones benefitd

Course Curriculum Overview:

The curriculum is now updated since it became a University, so its more relevant to industry now but still we have to do extra courses for coding. Exams happen every few months—2 internals and one end-sem. They are not very easy, you actually need to study to pass without backlogs
