Course Curriculum Overview

I ache an interest in electronics and that's why I should this course. The course is a little bit old dated and rigorous. It should be improved and more student-friendly. Some faculty is very good but some are just ok ok . There is 1 faculty for a batch of 80 students. Faculty are highly qualified most of them have done their PhD from reputed institutes like IITs.Mid terms are taken after almost one and half months and a similar gap is provided for the end semester.

Class Size: 140Course Fees: INR 196000 per year

Internships Opportunities

Students have the opportunity of an on-campus internship or they can apply for campus directly. Many professors also offer research projects under them depending on their research. Our college has tied up MOU with other institutions like IIT Hyderabad.

Placement Experience

Our college has very good placement opportunities huge amount of companies visit every year like Amazon, Google, Flipkart.. all the big names, and provide good placement. People here do everything after completing their degree ranging from civil services, government jobs, higher studies, startups, and private jobs.

Fees and Financial Aid

The fee Structure is a little bit expensive for a general student whose parents' income is more than 5 lakhs But there are waivers of tuition fees for students whose parents' income is less than 5 lakhs by the institution. Similarly, maximum scholarships have criteria for income and prefer students whose parents' income is less than 2 or 1 lakhs.

Hostel Facilities

All hostels have basic facilities but the new hostel are really great they have all the facilities with great infrastructure. We have a washroom but sometimes there is a water issue but hall management tries it to resolve quickly. Meals are ok it depends on which hostel you were alloted. We also have a pure veg mess. The hostel is affordable and allotted on a first come first serve basis

Hostel Fee: INR 25000 per year

Admission

Admission to this college is done through the result of jee main by Jossa counselling more details can be found on the official website. Reservation benefits can be availed by attaching authentic documents. There should be a Csab round for iits also.

Placements are quite good. Thats precisely why i chose this college . The highest offer last year was 52 lpa . Other than that average package is 6 to 8 lpa for cse students . Mostly all students get placed . A few companies that come for placements are Infosys, TCS , JP Morgan , Deloitte , Bookings holidays , Cognizant, Accenture .

Placement Experience:

After 3rd semester the students are eligible for internship but after 4th sem the students are eligible for Plecement. More the 95% students get the placements. Highest package is aprox Rs.4300000 and lowest is 300000. My plan is for higher studies after getting degree.

ITER SOA is quite intimidating!!

Placement Experience:

IBM, Siemens, Philips and many other companies and even the chio makers and computer makers are also one of the main share holders in placements. For CSE department the average placements are of 15-20 lakhs but for our department the average drops down to 6 lakhs per annum.

Honest and Genuine review of NIT Rourkela

So I choose these college over the others because of its relevant name and the hype of this college In India as It is Institute of national importance And also a government backed college and it is one of the most demanded college. So the colleges which I have applied to are DTU, NSUT, Nit Trichy, Nit Warangal, Nit Surat Kal And top 7 iits. No I was not rejected from the other college which I have applied to but the combination of branching and the college value Doesn't satisfied me for taking admission in that colleges. So the admission process for the Nit Rourkela Is that the eligibility criteria is 75% in 12th class And second criteria is to clear the entrance exam which is the JEE mains and also scoring a very good marks in it. Then by the centralised Josaa Counselling student will fill their choices ,lock and get allotments in the upcoming rounds of the josaa counselling. The ending rank to take admission in this college in the EC branch is about a 6000-7000 rank in the jee mains exam for the other state people. Everything about NIT ROURKELA ( campus life, placements, fees )

The best aspects of the college is the campus. It's the second largest campus in India. A lush green campus with a very good mess facilities. The buildings are great. Hostels are also good. Evrything about infrastructure was a plus point. Only negative point is the non availability of airport due to which some companies refuse to come a pick students.
