Course Curriculum Overview

4.5

So, I come from a tech background, I was more interested in computer engineering, I studied cse in 12th also, and find a better scope and career in this domain, for that reason, I joined this course, The faculty over here are good, they have good enough skills to deliver the best lectures, most of the faculty around 80% are experienced and they come from IITs and NITs. I am in 3rd Year now, so throughout my semesters, I found good and well-knowledged faculty. Exams are conducted as per the university calendar, you will be notified 2 weeks before the exams on our university mail id and Exams here are very strict and heavily maintained, they have ai based cameras setup, which track your movements while writing the exams. if you got caught under malpractice, then serious action will be taken against you and after you write exams and start with the new semester after a break of 2 months, in between or nearby to your midterm exam u will get the previous semister results,

Internships Opportunities

3.5

University provides the internship based on the course for which you have applied, for every semester you will do the project and online certification based on the subject you study and if want to do an internship outside the campus, means the university allows you to do it after 3rd year.

Placement Experience

3.5

From the 6th semester onwards the Placement starts and you should have min 7cgpa. companies that visited are more than 200+, some of them are Aditya Birla, Tech Mahindra, Infosys, tcs, Kotak bank, KPMG, Capgemini, Accenture, Goldman Sache, hdfc bank, and EI. Around 80 percent get placed.

Fees and Financial Aid

The fee structure depends upon the admission category you fall in, suppose you want to join through kcet then the fee structure will be the same as the government provided in the admission order. And if you fall under the Management category means for the particular course there is a different fee structure, you can visit the university website and download the brochure for more details, University also provided financial assistance, it has tied up with some private companies, which allows them to pay fees monthly on EMI based system without interest. Scholarships: state government scholarships, international scholarships by university, and university criteria-based scholarships.

Campus Life

4

Every year there is fest (invencia) which is the biggest fest in the whole of Banglore, many singers, and artists are invited by the university to the campus, The library here is one the best library I would say, because as soon as a new book comes, the previous version is replaced by the new one, and classes are like international architect based, well maintained and clean and best. Sports have their seperate clubs with all the accessory things. In the university, there are around 80+ highly active clubs, where you can join and explore your ideas.

Admission

I took the admission to this college through kcet which is an entrance exam conducted by the state, here admission process is smooth and fine, and the university has well-guided directions and guides to help out the whole admission process, You find the application form in the university website of presidency university. After writing kcet to get admission to this college, there is a certain cutoff for each course for my course computer engineering it was 70000, more or less each year there will be a difference of 500 in the cutoff. During the whole admission process from start to end of admission, there is a problem, the management is good, which works very well.

Placement Experience:

Placements at RNS Institute of Technology are good. Students become eligible for campus placements from the 6th or 7th semester. Many companies visit the college, including IT and core companies. Some of the common recruiters include TCS, Infosys, Wipro, Accenture, and a few core companies for EEE. The average package is around 3 to 5 LPA, and higher packages are also offered for top-performing students. The highest package can go much higher depending on the company. Around 70–80% of students get placed, mainly in IT roles. For EEE students, core placements are limited, but there are good opportunities in software roles. The college also provides training and support for placements. After completing my degree, I plan to get placed in a good company and build my career.

Companies like HP, Infosys, Wipro come for recruiting and make offers from 3L per annum to 30 L per annum. Around 70 percent of the students get placed through campus placement. I plan on working for a dream company after completing my degree.

Placement Experience:

I applied to colleges like BMSIT and Sir MVIT, and I had confirmed seats there, too. I chose RNSIT because it has a better reputation for placements in my branch and the campus environment felt more welcoming. I didn't get into RVCE because my KCET rank wasn't high enough for their top branches, as the competition was very tough that year. The admission process is simple. They mainly take students through KCET and COMEDK. You need at least 45% in your 12th boards (PCM). Most students prefer KCET because the fees are lower. Once the seat is allotted through counseling, you just visit the campus, submit your documents, and pay the fees. The whole process was quite smooth and well-organized."

Course Curriculum Overview:

The curriculum is very unique, and very new, we are not taught irrelevant subjects and topics like every university does, Polaris school of technology (PST) is a new gen college which mainly focuses on tech, producing the best engineers not amongst india but amongst the world, it's aim is to produce engineers who are better than IITians and MITians, all these specifications influenced me to choose this course/curriculum When it comes to real-world applications, Polaris school of technology(PST) gives us real-life problems and scenario based projects through evaluations which help us in the future and helps us to build a proper approach for problems and train us to be the best. We have two main exams per sem which would be conducted every 3 months that is ½th of the sem, we have a total of 8 sems, so total 16 exams, our exams would be difficult for other college students, but not for us as we have the best mentors.
