Course Curriculum Overview
Here 2 sessional test is conducted every semester which is very you can score on the basis of your last night's study, each semester. And for semester exams here you have to study hard during the exam time, and if you only mug up the previous year's questions then also you can score 70% easily. And the best part here faculty is much better than the other universities, most of them are Ph.D. holders and they have a very friendly nature with the students, they also guide you personally if you face any problem here.
Internships Opportunities
The college provides the references for the internships and NOC is given to everyone, and many get internships in top companies, on the basis of their skills. like Google, Amazon, tcs, Wipro, Infosys, and many others are doing internships in data science and analytics also. so it is based on your potential and how much you can extract, a lot of opportunities are available, and many hackathons are organized by UIET itself in which the price money are upto 2-3L.
Placement Experience
TCS, Wipro, Infosys, and Cisco are the major recruiters here and most of the start-up companies come here. So the average package for on-campus placement is 5-6LPA which almost everyone gets easily irrespective of their branch, but most of the serious students apply for off-campus placement and many get 10+ packages or 15+ also based on your efforts. our seniors are placed in Microsoft, Amazon, Accenture, and many top companies with an average package of 6-18 LPA. some are doing internships at Amazon, google, and many more top companies.
Fees and Financial Aid
For B.Tech courses the free is a total of 72000 per year and it is paid in half at the start of each semester (in odd sem approx 38,000 and even semesters 34,000 approx), If you are a resident of Haryana then here all the scholarships are applicable provided by the government and also for Kashmiri migrants. they study almost free of cost. And apply to HSTS counseling. And here lots of job opportunities are available if you are doing good and can easily get a 10L+ package.
Campus Life
The whole campus is so beautiful, you can't judge just by seeing the images if you visit the college you will definitely get attached to the campus environment, here too many sports opportunities are available, with the best facilities. The library is huge and all nooks are available.
Hostel Facilities
The hostel is good, here the free for the hotel is 14000 of which 5000 is the mess security and 2000 is the hostel security which is refunded after each year, And your hotel also changes every year, In 1st, the 2nd year, and 4th years you get sharing rooms which are 1/2, and in 3rd year you get single rooms, and the hostels are well maintained. here the mess is run by the students so you have to pay based on your pre-day diet which approximately comes 2500/month.
Admission
B.Tech Admission is done based on your JEE main percentile. If your rank is under 1.5L then the probability, you can get CSE here in the physical counseling, which starts after JEE Advance results announcement.
