Entrance Preview
There is no entrance exam to my college till now. The students need to apply for the admission and they are called for the interview. Then the students need to opt for the courses according to their preferences. Based on interview the seats are given. I opted for CSE and got a seat in it.
Course Curriculum Overview
The course was designed in such a way so that it imparts knowledge to students without any stress or burden. There are more labs than lectures so that the student gets practical knowledge. The classes are also designed in manner that inculcates the hands on learning process.
Internships Opportunities
My university provides internship from the end of second year . Every student need to intern with a startup or a company and there are marks for it. If you are opting for an internship on your own then you need to inform the university regarding the internship. The duration of internship varies form year to year.In the second year the students need to intern for atleast 2 months.
Placement Experience
The university was opened only 3 years back and there are no placements till now as there is no pass out batch. But we are expecting good companies to come for campus placements because of the fame of the university and the fact that the university is being mentored by Imperial College Of London.
College Events
My University conducts A fest know as 67th milestone which lasts for a week and many colleges across India participate in it. An orientation week for freshers is also conducted at the beginning of the year, where the seniors welcome juniors.
Fee Structure And Facilities
The tuition fee for year is approximately 2.10 lakhs. The hostel fee is approximately in between 80,000 to 1,00,000 based on the type of room the student is choosing. In addition to that the mess and laundry fee costs 55,000 INR.
Fees and Financial Aid
My university gives scholarships based on the merit. There are special scholarships for girls. Loans are also given to students at a very low interest rates.
Campus Life
My university organizes many extracurricular events like Battle of Bands where most famous college bands across Delhi come to show their skills. It also organizes Lotus Fest ,which is basically a sports fest in collaboration with Shiv Nadar University and O.P.Jindal university
Hostel Facilities
The hostels in my university are well maintained and furnished. They are maintained by sodexo. There are Single ,double, triple occupancy rooms in my university and the fare depends on the type of rooms the student is opting for. There are two messes and they are maintained by well known caterers Sodexo and Compass.
Exam Structure
The exams are conducted on a semester basis and there are two semesters per year. In each semester there is a mid and endsem. There is a handsome weight age to quizzes and assignments. In fact the internal marks carry 40 percent of the weight age.
Faculty
Majority of the faculty in my university have PhD's from IIT's or from reputed universities of the world.Their standard of teaching is very good and they are highly interactive. Some faculty are involved in research work and they take students as their subordinates in the submission of the thesis work. In fact they mentor us in various fields.
