Remarks
there is no good infrastructure and students are not entertained for sports. and labs also should be developed with proper equipment's. there are no fests organised by college which is one of the draw back of college. as other colleges organised the same.
Entrance Preview
i wrote common entrance test (CET) exam for entering the college after completing my 2nd pre-university examination. after writing the exam i was allotted in the oxford college of engineering in the common entrance test (CET) seat allotment in the first round of allotment. there was no interview which was held, but i was directed to go to college and show my allotment documents and hold my seat in the oxford college of engineering.i chose mechatronics engineering because its a new course which had combination of many fields in it which i found interesting hence i chose the course.
Course Curriculum Overview
the course i chose was mechatronics engineering in which i had and wonderful knowledge about modern upcoming technologies. as to speak about the practical leaning as in first year the labs are good but as we come to second year some of the specimens will work but others are in shut down mode. few apparatus works good for sometime n again goes down as we work on it again. only IEEE is carried by EC department and no other initiatives.elective options are computer organisation.
Internships Opportunities
the college will not provide a single internship for every student. the college says to take the internship from outside. the college has not support for any internship for the students till now. i did not get any experience in the internship field since the college has not supported but i have plans to go for one. since i did not attend any internship so i have no idea about the stipend amount.
Placement Experience
the placement in our college is not too good because less companies come to our college. the companies which come to our colleges are not well standard companies and not much of the students are placed during the placement. there is very less percentage of students who are getting placed during the placement. there are no major companies that come to our college but some of them are juspay, mahindra, ebay, inox etc. the average package that the company gives is around four lakh per annul.
College Events
we didn't have college events or fests and college did not organist any fest.
Fee Structure And Facilities
it was quite affordable. first year i paid 60000 approximately and 52000 in second year since i got this through common entrance test (CET) it was quite affordable for me to pay the fee.
Fees and Financial Aid
yes they had provided but i didn't apply for any. and i also didn't apply for any loan.
Campus Life
there is no proper facility about the sports and we are not entertained for the same.
Hostel Facilities
i don't stay in hostel but my friends stay in the hostel and they will be telling me always that the hostel is not very good and fair. the rooms in the hostel are also not good because some times i visit my friends room in the hostel and the interior of the hostel is fully damaged.
Alumni/Alumna
we spoke to our alumni on the first day of our college. after that we didn't have any interaction.
Exam Structure
some exams were good and some were just stressful. but the exams does not make any tired feeling at the end of the day. but it really helps us in gaining the knowledge.
Faculty
faculties are qualified but as point of reaching to students learning basis they are just OK. as the faculties focus on the content present only in the book but not on the logical things. the faculties need same answers whatever will be there in the text book, from this many students face complicated problems since most of them have logical thinking because of this the good students also get less marks in their exams. some of the faculties are not much interactive with the students. the standard of teaching is not very much good since they are not well experienced as they are freshers.
