Remarks
The recourse fee is too high so if any students fails in a exam he has to pay a total of Rs.2000 rupees for one subject.Also the disciplinary rules are so tough.
Entrance Preview
As of now there is no entrance text for my university. I applied for an admission and later based on the marks, the university called me for an interview round. Later based on the interview score they allot the seat based on the students priority.
Course Curriculum Overview
The course curriculum in my university is designed to enhance the learning procedure of the student. The courses are designed in such a way that they don't impart any stress on thee students social life. My university offers B.Tech in CSE,CSC,ECE,MECH,CIVIL. There are many additional clubs as well, which helps in the alround development of the students.Many workshops and seminars are conducted by my university on different topics.
Internships Opportunities
There are ample internship opportunities provided by the university from the end second year itself.since i am in second year i didn't intern with any companies. But my seniors told that it was a great experience to take part in working with some startups and some companies.
Placement Experience
My university don't have a pass out batch till now so placement packages were not known. But we hope that many reputed companies will recruit the students as my university is a brainchild of HERO comany.
College Events
We have an event known as 67th milestone conducted once a year which involves technical events, cultural events, etc. The orientation week for the freshers is organised at the starting of the year for the juniors. the students are given the opportunity to organize these events.
Fee Structure And Facilities
The tuition fee is approximately 2 .10 lakhs per year and the fee is to be paid at the starting of each semester. The hostel fee depends on the type of hostel the student is opting for. The student needs to pay an additional amount of Rs. 55,000 for food and laundry.
Fees and Financial Aid
My university offers scholarships to students based on merit and special scholarships to girl students are given. Also the students are given loans at a very low interest rate.
Campus Life
My university in collaboration with O.P.Jindal and Shiv Nadar University organizes Lotus fest which is a collection of different sports. The sports persons are encouraged a lot and they are motivated by providing interaction with eminent sports personalities.
Hostel Facilities
There are three types of hostels offering single,double and triple sharing rooms. The hostels are well furnished and maintained by sodexo. There are two messes for students ,one maintained by sodexo and the other is maintained by compass. My university don't have the facilities for PG's.
Alumni/Alumna
Since there is no pass out batch we don't have any alumni network as of now.
Exam Structure
There are 2 semesters per year. Each semester consists of a midsem and an endsem. The mid sem weight-age is only 20 percent and the end sem weight-age is 40 percent. the rest of the weight-age goes to internals. So the students can easily score in internals.
Faculty
The faculty at my university are simply great. Most of the faculty have PhD's from reputed universities like MIT,Stanford,etc.. The faculty personally interact with the students and each student get a faculty member as a mentor with whom the students cam express their problems with. The standards of teaching are good.
