The college doesn't conduct any fest or program in a grand way.

I came through CET ( common entrance exam) there was no interview for me i got seat through my rank.

Course Curriculum Overview

My course is mechatronics engineering. It's not much focused on practical learning as the lab equipment are less and costly.

Internships Opportunities

As far as i know there are no internships provided in our college.

Many companies come for placements but only a few Get placed as the percentage secured by students is less

My fee structure was around fifty thousand and It was affordable fees for me.

College doesn't provide any scholarship or loan But they help us to take other Scholarship provided by the government.

Campus Life

I don't think there are any extracurricular activities in this college.

Hostel Facilities

I'm a day Scholar. Don't know much about hostel. As far as i know the food provided in the hostel is bad

There is no alumni network in our college. It would be a great thing if the college could provide a alumni network.

Exam Structure

Exams are conducted monthly once. It had never made me tired. It had only helped me.

Faculty

Faculties are too young. Not much experienced in this course as it's a new course.

Life at IIT Dharwad - What to expect

Placement Experience:

At IIT Dharwad, students become eligible for campus placements right after their 7th semester(i.e. after the start of 4th year) and during their 3rd year, students also have opportunities to sit for internships which can later convert to PPOs. The companies that have visited our campus are Adobe, Amazon, Texas, TCS, wipro etc. The highest CTC offered was 55LPA and average package for CSE is 18-20LPA, and for the core branches is around 10-15LPA. In CSE more than 93% of the students got placed and many of other students opted for higher studies . In the core branches the placement percentage was around 85-88%. After My degree, I plan to go for a Software Engineer role.

Course Curriculum Overview:

Well my subjects are right now, physics, pop(c), java,IME (introduction to mechanical engineering), mathamatics. Well curriculum is great as we got more programming languages and some of the moderate difficulty i would say. And also better exam conduction .
