ASIF JAMBAGI's Review On The Oxford College Of Engineering, Bangalore

Our department is good than other departments but management doesn't invest more for our department, no projector, no seminar hall in our department, no curtains in classrooms, sometimes even fans present in the class won't work. college doesn't have anything, no fests, no cultural events, infrastructure is not too good, so my experience was bad

Diploma CET was the exam i wrote to join this college, no interview process done by college, learnt mechatronics in diploma and it is a good scope in future with robotics and automation,and i liked mechatroonics a lot in diploma ,it was awesome, and same course i took in engineering ,in diploma we learnt about more theory and in engineering we dealing with more calculation part of it.And i got to know about this college from senior.i planned for robotics but there was no robotics field in Bangalore, so i joined mechatronics

mechatronics course have almost everything and almost we learn about all the fields in this course,in diploma i have learnt about theoretical so our maths is weak and we have numerical subjects more in engineering,so for us engineering is little bit tuf becoz we have deal with mathematical part,overall course was good,not much focused on practical learning,i dont know whether clg have research initiative or not

no the college doesn't provide any internship, the students themselves have to go the industries, companies, and various other institutes seeking for the internships some internships take money and some they don't, our college only provides a bonafide letter that it. And one more astonishing thing is that our college expects us to do internships during vacations.

no much details about placement scenario,as i joined this clg just 1 year ago, through the diploma quota , last year my mechatronics seniors only two people got placed i.e in tech mahindra and juspay,. MOst of the BPO telecalling companies come which is of no use for the engineers. According to me placements in our college is not up to the mark, i can say on an average.

impulse, mera some events were done in our clg, no cultural managerial fests ,no big events are organized

My fees is vry less in this clg just paid 52000 for 2nd year of mechatronics engineering,i have join second year of engineering as i came from diploma,for 3rd year i paid 52410 ,i got seat in general merit,so my fees was this much while joining this clg

i got sanctioned 30000 minority scholarship for 2nd year and also education loan from KMDC

extracurricular activity like sports is available in this clg, yeah get lot of opportunities, even teachers help to do some activity, facilities were fine, they even don't supply water to participants during events.

i am living in pg, hostel rooms are not cleaned as told by friends, no single rooms only sharing rooms r available, yes they have pg, i paid 65000-70000 around per annum for PG,food was average,not to much good,not too bad

Some sems have exams in afternoon section and some sems have exams in morning,when exam it is morning ,it is very chill,but if exam are in afternoon i really feel a tiredness after completion of exam,same thing for lab

all teachers are M.Tech qualified, 2 years of experience i guess they have, few teachers are interactive and few teachers not interactive in this clg, most of time they teach us well but don't give more details about practical things, what ever present in the syllabus they do that much, leaving that they wont teach us anything, only exam point of view they teach us.
