Remarks

The infrastructure, the campus atmosphere and the well qualified faculties are the good things about the college. The bad one is the politics included in the management.

Entrance Preview

I went on to attend the interview conducted by the university business school for admission. They had me go through three rounds to qualify for admission. I haven't attended any of the above entrance exams. But I did get train for CAT.

Course Curriculum Overview

Courses offered are good and the way they are offered is very professional with qualified faculties.

Internships Opportunities

I did my internship in a supply chain firm. It was a good learning experience.

Placement Experience

Our university offers a good placement facilitation for everyone. Every year, almost 80% of the students are getting placed in well reputed companies. Ranging from Mnc's and others.

College Events

Riviera: the yearly grand cultural fest and Gravitas: A technological and education program conducted annually.

Fees and Financial Aid

They have a scheme for underprivileged students. Every year, 100s of students are offered free admission.

Transforming Learning Beyond the Classroom

Likes

Supportive faculty, practical learning through case studies, workshops, and industry interactions helped improved both technical and management skills.a
Regular seminars, guest lectures, internships, and management events provided good exposure.
Good campus environment with helpful faculties, library, Sports room with PS5 and billiards table.

Dislikes

The campus infrastructure is good, but adding more recreational spaces and student facilities would enhance the overall experience.
More cultural and technical events would make campus life more engaging
Some administration process could be completed faster during busy periods.

Placement Experience:

Placements are supportive through training , internships , and campus drives. Companies from various sectors visit the campus. I plan to build a career in Business / Data analytics after graducation..

Likes

NTG to say as far as now everything is good
Overall college has good facilities nothing to complain

From 3 sem college makes preparation for placement and by 4 they focus to place students TCS , Cognizant,Icici etc I'm planning to get settled in a well known company vth good package of salary in my future

Likes

Faculties ( Mostly all of them will have a business experience) ( they will not be the one's who studied to became a professor, they gained experience in realtime).
Perfect infrastructure ( Room, Dinning hall, seminar halls, Classrooms)
Food (100%) The menu includes Non veg, Soup, Juice , Snacks, Ice-cream. It gives a perfect balance diet.

Dislikes

Mostly all placement will be on sales and marketing.

Placement Experience:

Placements will be provided to everybody. But the problem is HR department students will not get a chance to get into their own field. Mostly all the placements will be sales and marketing. Operation department have a good scope of getting into their field with a good package in well-known companies.

I liked the main campus in Chennai . Here students can find the maximum resource

The overall ranking of amet in NIRF ranking 2023 is 32

Dislikes

Many students from many countries are placed in university
Dress habits should not concentrate that much
Mostly rich people will engage in the college

SRM institute appears to be generally good. According to best performance and more than 90% of previous year students got placed on campus . The college has a 95% placement rate. 9 out of 10 students are placed in their dream . Placement companies are Cognizant NTT DATA,ICIC Bank, ZOHO

I got good percentile in JEE so i was getting admission in few mid ranked and top NITs, but there was no CSE branch available in any top NIT and I specifically wanted CSE branch soo I applied for other entrances exams for SRM,Amrita,VIT and Manipal but out of all I preffered VIT because it has a good package and better NIRF ranking than even many NITs, also after bachelors I want to do masters from abroad and VIT has best reputation for CSE abroad when it comes to CSE.VIT accepts admission through VITEEE exam which asks questions from class 12th PCM, English and General aptitude...Read More
