My college university bhramappa devendrappa tavanappannavar college of engineering is first govt college of Karnataka and is directed by vtu. Kcet exams require a cutoff of min 40k for EC Branch. Fees = 38200, No entrance exams Reservation applied

Course Curriculum Overview

Overall course curriculum is way good then any other colleges. All faculty members are PhD holders and bit strict college. It's not very hard to pass term or internal assessment exams, and semester exams are bit tough and proper studying is required to score well.

Placement Experience

From sixth semester students are eligible for campus placements and interviews. Highest placement package of this year is 15 lakhs for ece student and it has an avg of 4 to 5 lakhs. 85 percentage of students get placements Job is the plan

Fees and Financial Aid

In UBDTCE 1 st year fees is 38200 for 1 year, and for hostel it's 38000,13000 for hostel and 25000 mess fees. State scholarship portal or ssp is the main scholarship for students. Students get selected in campus and get a good package

Campus Life

Ethnic day and chaitra function are two main functions held in the year. Techno is tech function of the year. We have one of finest library Proper attendance is compulsory All Sports are conducted btw different branches in chaitra.

Hostel Facilities

According to the fees we pay hostel facility is worth it. Fan and light facilities and a safe table and chair. Meal quality is ok I live in hostel with my friends and college provides admission in hostel cause has limited seats.

"BIET Davanagere: A Hub of Opportunities with Room for Improvement"

Placement Experience:

We enter the placement at the end of 3rd year almost at 4th year(6th to 7th semester). The placement cell organizes various traning program, including mock interviews, group discussions, and communication skills workshops. Past 3 to 4 years more than 10 companies per year offered hiring 100+ students. But over the year the companies have come down and providing les opportunities. Companies like TCS, Wipro, Infosys, Accenture, etc recruite students from this college. The highest package is 25LPA and the average package is around 6LPA. Due to the increase in the rate of admission, the percentage has been decresed. Almost 25 out of 100 students are getting placed in this college. After getting degree, I will try my level best to get placed in campus itself. If not, I am interested more in Competitive exams, I will focus on it.

From the 6th and 7th semester students are eligible gor campus placements. Students are asked to apply for the campus placements from the career development department of the college according to the marks. Some companies visited are like jspider, qspider, Xworkz, kodnest, Infosys, 3 q sutantra, toyota, triveni,idea infinity,edgeverve, eton ,dfm technology, tata elaxi, enventure and many more. And highest package in 8 to 12 LPA. The students are placed according to the companies requiments min 20 students are placed outof 50 students My plan is to get a good, high paying job after completing my graduation.

The Pros and Cons of being a student at MIT Manipal

Placement Experience:

From the7th sem onwards campus placements are put in place for btech students. Many companies such as microsoft, google, BMW, mercedes, accenture and others look for students here. The top 100 of each branch get the highest packages with the average of that being 22lpa for the cce branch. The rest of the students that are placed have an average salary of 14 lpa. Almost all the students are placed with the placement rate being around 90% for my branch. I plan on working for 2 years after getting placed and then pursuing an MBa degree abroad to further my tenure as a valuable asset to whatever company takes me under their wing.

Placement Experience:

Placements are good in college . Highest package was 52 lpa in 2024 and average was 9-10 lpa. But the percentage was very less in 2024 because of recession and negligence of placement cell and their bad decisions.
