Course Curriculum Overview

4.5

I have chosen this course because I am interested to study Maths. Faculty members are very supportive and highly qualified, they will really help you out if you reach them the ratio of faculty to students is quite low like 1 in 40 students but they answer all your questions. Faculty are Ph.D. holders who have fine skills in teaching. All the exams including midterms are held on time and their results were also on time. Exams are not so difficult, if you have just covered your notes thoroughly so you will be getting good marks.

Placement Experience

4

Students are eligible for placement in the final year of their course and most vocational courses have the opportunity to have. The highest package would be 5lpa and the minimum would be 2 lpa. There is a 50-50 chance to get the placement. I want to pursue a higher degree.

Fees and Financial Aid

The fee structure is very much affordable for anyone and it cost almost nothing. Those candidates would have some problems when it comes to taking hostels, lodges, or leaving on rent then it would make it costly because the charges here are some 5k per month for living. The reserved category can avail of the scholarship given by the Jharkhand govt i.e. ekalyan which can only apply to Jharkhand residents. Some companies come here and will get a stipend of 10k and 2-4lpa.

Campus Life

5

Life will be very good in this college. There are sports meets, seminars, webinars, annual functions, ceremonial dances, and fresher and farewell party happens. There are Gym and NCC also here where you can join. The library of the college is very big that can have almost all the books related to the course and for other competitive exams too. Classrooms are kind of old but big and have benches, light bulbs, fans, and green boards.

Admission

Eligibility for this course is that you must have passed 12th with Science ( PCM) as a stream. There is no entrance exam for any course in Ranchi Women's College, Ranchi. if you want to study in this college just your marks decide whether you will selected or not so your result should be above as per guidelines of the Ranchi University. You can get the application form from the official website of Ranchi Women's College, Ranchi. Application fees will be around 500 and you can apply for this in April - June. There are many benefits for reserved candidates like selection in college and after that, you can avail of the scholarship too. No, the Admission process is just fine. You will be getting a time of 1 week after getting selected there in which you have to produce all the original documents or the undertaking of the remaining item if you don't have that time and also you have to fees for the semester and uniform.

Other Applied Colleges

Bokaro Steel City College, Bachelor of Science [B.Sc] {Hons.} (Physics)

Course Curriculum Overview:

From the beginning of my 11th and 12th standard I'm very fond of Physics and mathematics that's why I choose to persue honours in physics and also there are more opportunities and jobs after bsc in physics compared to other streams. In bokaro steel city college the faculty: student ratio is not that great(1 per 250 students) as it is managed by state government. The qualification of teachers is above average (Almost every teacher has a P.hd) but the quality of teaching is not that great. Teachers often miss there classes and there way of teaching is very boring. On usual exams are taken in a interval of 6 to 8 months. But due to covid situation the exams got very much delayed l mean upto 10 to 12months. If you can complete the syllabus just by having few glances of the topics and follow the previous year question its quite easy to pass the examination by securing good marks. But most of the students always fail (almost 50% every semester).

Remarks:

In reality, this college has more negative remarks than positive. Some good part is that it has some great teachers. Their best course is B.Com for which it is famous. They organise some sports tournament that is appreciable. Overall good college to complete your degree and make Foundation.
