I chose the course because of the demand for tech nowadays and my keen interest in advancing the tech world. the faculty is highly qualified and teaching methods are also skill-based. there are 2 Midterms and one final term exam.

Internships Opportunities

many companies come for internships and a lot of job roles. also one gets a good stipend during those internships and some companies even carry out the internships to further hire you. also, you get the roles that are related to your own job roles.

Placement Experience

after the 3rd year, one can start appearing in campus placements but you can do many internships even after the first year only. many top companies visit the campus like wipro, Amazon, Flipkart, etc most of the students get placed and the number of companies is also more than sufficient.

Fees and Financial Aid

The cost to study here is nominal as compared to other private institutes as they cost more than double the fee here no scholarship is available here but you get good internships if you have skills at the end of the first year only.

there are many fests that take place in the college also the library is well equipped with books of different genres, all the classrooms are well equipped there are multiple grounds, a sports complex, and a gym. Also, tables for table tennis are present on each floor of the hostel.

Admission

Eligibility for Anyone who has applied for jees exam and got above 75% in PCM. All the fee forms and dates are updated on the website. A PI must be introduced in order to decrease the crowd and increase the productivity of the batch.

Placements of this college is better than many tier 2 NITs . Students are eligible for placement in 8th semester. If we talk about the top companies visiting PEC, these are Apple, Google, Microsoft, American Express, McKinsey, JP Morgan etc.

Placement Experience:

from 5 semester you become eligible for internship and pre placements i think 56 percent of the students get placed i haven't thought much about what i need to do after the degree but definitely i would be considering gaining some experience in this degree to enhance my skills

Placement Experience:

For 7th semester students become eligible for campus placements 60% of students are placed. I am placed in college duniya . In my college the highest package is 50 lakhs and average is 10 lakh. After degree i am planning to join corporate and get experinece in company.

PEC from a student's lens

Placement Experience:

Campus placements are overall decent. Some students usually the top 10 percenrt students get high packages north of 15 lakhs and some even get 35-70 lakhs. but this number is very small and most students get around 4-10 lpa. around 60 to 70 percent students get placed combining on and off campus placements.

Ground Reality

Course Curriculum Overview:

The whole curriculum focuses on the cramming power, not on the practical knowledge. Students have to do the tech stack on their own for the placements. Students must do the internship so that he/she will gain some practical knowledge and a chance to gain hands-on experience.

PEC is great choice

Placement Experience:

placements from rti report placement percentage is over 75 + and in ee its 74 percent cse 93 and ece 84 percent avg for cse is 18 lakhs and ece is 16 lakhs ee its 14 lakh and other branches have 8 10 lakh avg but the placemnt percentage in mechncial is 70 percent other branches like civil production have a little less percentage of placements but they have opportunities in college

Overall im loving this college

Placement Experience:

For placement students can apply in their last year respectively Top recruiters at UICTE include Reliance, GAIL, Honeywell, ExxonMobil, and Technip, offering many roles, but exact offer numbers aren't publicly available. Highest package for chemical engineering this year is 12 LPA and average is around 5 to 7LPA I want to do something of my own after this degree

There are on compus placement and few companies visit. But very few students are only selected and offered a package of around 5-6 lpa. Oracle, fy, hdfc etc In percentage placement is around 10%. I plan to apply for off campus placements and don't have any plans for mtech or any other cource.

A GLANCE TO MY COLLEGE

i chose this college over other colleges becuase of its reputation , in recent years Chitkara has made its name whether we talk about placements or any other various field, it has a brand value as a private college its a quite good college,this is slightly a new college that is why boards were the criteria to get admission and other colleges i applied to took admission o the basis of JEE mains and i had not scored that good in it that is why did'nt able to clear the cutoff for my required branch, i applied t o Thapar Institute Of Technology, Patiala , Chandigarh University,Punjab, Amity University, Punjab Chandigarh College of Architecture.. i got confirmation from everywhere but just in Thapar i did not get Computer Science, The elegibility criteria in Chitkara is min aggregrate of 60% in jee mains and 70% in boards then there are several cutoffs on which the branches are given to students...Read More

I choose this college because it have a good placement ratio and packages. Here placements cell heads are helpful and teaches us about how to grab good placement. No, i didn't get a rejection from other colleges but i choose this because transportation is easy in this as compared to other colleges.
