Entrance Preview

I joined IIT JEE in lko in class 11 and prepared for IIT JEE. But i was unsuccessful in clearing it in first attempt. I worked hard and got select ed in 2 attempt. Electrical is bhu oldest department. It has many reputed professors. Admission process is conduced online by iit conducting JEE exam.

Course Curriculum Overview

Course is very well designed. On one hand it has deep knowledge gaining courses like dc machines and transformers. On other hand it has subjects like philosophy development of society etc. It is so flexible that one can pursue their interest like coding, robotic etc

Internships Opportunities

Being a 2 year student i did not sat for intern exam but companies like Microsoft, Goldman sack, morgan Stanley, Amazon etc hire students for intern. Core companies like HUL SAMSUNG also offer intern. Stipend varies eg microsoft gives 30000 for one month .

Placement Experience

IIT bhu has excellent job offers both in software and core. software varies from google facebook amazon GS MS Etc while core consists PSU citicorp Samsung tata steel etc. About 80 percent students are placed on campus . Others have ppo from varies companies package varies from 2.03 crore in software to 10 lakhs in core per annum.

College Events

Spardha national sports events is a hit. kashiyatra blends the engineering atmosphere with dance and music having nationwide participation. Technex a techno management fest gives opportunities to explore in technical affairs like robotic aero modelling and management events like bulls on the floor. We also have mun and tedx.

Fees and Financial Aid

Scholarship for sc/st students. Merit cum scholarships for students who perform good in semester loans are availed from sbi bank situated in campus. Top 3 students from each branch got 80000.

Campus Life

Gender ratio is very poor .few girls are there . extracurricular s are good enough. we always stay busy with some or the other activity. .be it sports, robotics, drama, dance, etc.

Hostel Facilities

Some are in not well ventillated. Most of hostel offer double seating for single and triple for double seating. But all bathrooms are regularly cleaned. We pay 12000 for mess for six month. Food in mess are not upto the mark except a few. Saatwik is good

Course Curriculum Overview:

I want to become software engineer so that is why i choose B.Tech cse course. And the curriculum is good fit for real world application or further academic pursuits. They majorly focus on practical either than theory knowledge nearly exam occur in every 1 to 2 months and paper difficulty level is average not as much hard and not easy

A good choice for quality education and career growth

Placement Experience:

Students become eligible for campus placement from the 6th and 7th semsester the college has a dedicated placement cell that organise training sessions resume building workshops mock interviews and aptitude class to prepare students for placement Many companies visit the campus every year , including IT and sevice based comapnies . The most common roles offered are software developer technical support, data analytical and trainee enginer. The avaerage package can go upto 7 lakh while the highest package can go upto 52 lakhs . Around 70-80% of students get placed through campus drives while other opt for higher studies , internships or off campus job . The placement process is smooth and well organised bh the college. After completing my degree , i plan to either secure a good job through campus placement or improve my skills for better off campus placement.

KMCLU Lucknow : Experience of Campus and Academics

Placement Experience:

My college has an average placement of 6LPA. Placement eligibility starts from the end of 5th semester, but when I got promoted to 5th semester, placements declined due the the restructuring in placement cell. So our batch missed the opportunity to attend any placements. In year 2022, the highest placement was around 22LPA and in year 2023, it declined to 9 LPA as there was restructuring in team. After getting my degree I will look for carrier opprotunities on my own, as I have not experienced any placement in my college years.

The ABES Highlights

Placement Experience:

From 7th semester students become eligible for placements some of the companies which visit are amazon, atlassian, google,etc. According to me the highest package is 53 lpa and the average package is 5 lpa. If you had a great skilled then you can get the placement. I don't know the percentage of student getting placements.

I choose iit bhu because of iit tag string mining dept and most imp the campus life which felt better than other options i have . I have options of few iits like iit dhanbad and all but iit bhu stood out the most from all other iits in terms of everyaspect as it has strong placements records and aluminia base with lots of supported startups.
