Remarks

As such nothing bad about my college but equal importance to studies and ECA for me somehow diverted me at times from concentrating on my studies. Rest, it was a great experience. It taught me so many things, from tackling a burdened situation to enjoying every moment of life.

I landed in SSM by qualifying CET exams, and I chose this course not for any particular reason.

Course Curriculum Overview

The course was pretty good and focus on practical learning was a bit less but that much is tolerable. Regarding the elective subjects, I have read microprocessor, thermal engineering, done practicals of thermal engineering.

Internships Opportunities

No, there no internship provision by the college. No such experience fields have been introduced yet in the campus but if it have been introduced, would have been of much help.

Placement Experience

Placement programs were arranged and many students got placed. I clearly didn't remember the name of companies visiting campus. One company I remember was of Anchor.

Fee Structure And Facilities

It was 37800 for a year. Fee was affordable. It also includes examination fee of 1960 for each semester exam.

In terms of ECA college was really good, and had always provided us with plenty of opportunities. Facilities for the same are pretty good too.

Teachers of the college are well qualified and they had given their best. They are quiet interactive, keep arranging different programs like autonomous robotics for us, to make us experience such sciences as well.

There are in campus placements in our university. Students become eligible for the same from 7th semester. Placement Experience:

Our institute has a placement call, and it helps the students acquire jobs in the industry. Many top companies like Wipro, L and T, and NVIDIA visit our campus, and it provides jobs in every field from Information Tech. to Material-related jobs. Here job opportunities are for every branch. Recently in one day 30-40 students got placed at an average package of 10 LPA. Most of the opportunities are for CSE and IT students as it goes for every institute and some companies like GAIL, and IOCL. BARC gives internship opportunities to chemical branches too. The core branches like Electrical and Mechanical also perform well in the placements. From the 7th semester, placement opportunities are given to the students. Highest package 40 LPA and median package 10 LPA.

Course Curriculum Overview:

Good things is that they offer minor courses for us where we can choose extra courses which we may find interesting and yaa not only that interdepartment projects can also be chosen which is very strange but don't seems relevant.curriculum earlier they were following of iit Delhi and new curriculum is not very exact and relevant because sometimes there are some unnecessary courses and no point of learning that course which forcefully imposed on us to take this course as it comes under institute department courses and are mandatory which is not so good

Admission:

First apply for jee mains exam and get a rank under 50000 and also minimum 75% marks in 12th exam and you have only three attempt to qualify jee mains exam if you clear the cutoff so you also eligible for jee advance exam for the admission in IIT

Review about Shri mata vaishni devi university

Remarks:

The university is situated in the Trikuta foothills and is 80 km away from the main Jammu city so one has to bear that because everything is not available sometimes. Electricity is 24×7 and the weather is awesome.

Garbage college

I choose this colege because i failed in jEe exam and this prompted me to join it. I joined this college because it was local and i would be able to be as day scholar in the college. The admission process was quite difficult and they literally make hinged into the decision to apy admission fee in advance to have a security deposit if otherwise student later leaves the college and joins other institution they would make it look like a penalty and they withhold the priginal docs which you should never show them .
