My experience at MECS

As I am interested in coding so I opted for a CSE background. They are around 300-350+ faculty members and around 800 students each year. The faculty members are very much educated with minimum BE and MTech degrees and some are also pursuing their Ph.D. in different domains. The teaching styles are very realistic and subject-oriented. After every unit, we will have a surprise test and after 2½ units we will have internals if you will prepare fully fleshly you can easily pass.

After their 6th semester students are eligible for their campus placements. Wipro, cognizant, genc, genc next, genc elevate, and Razropay are the different companies that approach our college. Almost 60-70% of students get placed in on-campus placements. I want to work for 2 years and then I am planning to study abroad.

The yearly fee is 90000. And if you get EAMCET rank below 10000 and your family's annual income is less than 200000 then you will be provided with full scholarship reimbursement from the government. The placements are also excellent.

Last year our college had a URVI fest in the month of June. Our college also conducts a lot of tech fests and 6-7 months back we also had a workshop for abroad studies. And coming to clubs we had a lot of clubs like MCC, VIVEKANANDA CLUB, IEEE student chapter, Music club, etc. There are a lot of books of different domains in the library. The classrooms are ventilated with a projector connected. Every year our college conducts an annual sports day to conduct different games for both girls and boys and the winners are also awarded medals and trophies. Our college had an official website named Matrusri Engineering College where you will be provided with every detail.

To get a seat in state engineering Colleges we have to write the TS EAMCET exam which will be held online. Your +2 should be with Science and maths background. The applications will be available online and fees depend upon different categories. My admission process went in a smoothly manner. I was provided with clear dates for admission and they were very patient. As I am a CSE student the cutoff was around 5500.
