Firstly I like the idea lab which is for the new entrepreneur so that they can work on their startup.
Secondly I like is the infrastructure of the campus.
Placement from the campus are also good .

Dislikes

Strict rules for not attending classes regularly.
75%. Attendance is mendatory to sit for the exams.
Mess food is not so good and even you are not allowed to cook in your hostel rooms.

The faculty-student ratio is good. There are enough teachers. Teachers are well qualified. 3 sessionals are conducted before the final examination. Every month one sessional. The syllabus is completed before the exam.

Companies like Amazon also came to the campus and the highest package was 28 lakhs for one girl from PIET only. Placement is good, Infosys, Capgemini and many more companies come for the campus placement.

Placement Experience

The placement is good. They give an average package of 5 lakhs per annum. They train you for the placement by conducting pre-placement rounds so that you are confident enough to sit in the interview. Group discussion classes are going on regularly.

Fees and Financial Aid

There are many scholarships available Jammu students, SC caste students, students from Bangladesh, and general category students can get scholarships if they belong to the EWS category. Campus placement is good. They are providing an average package to 5 lakh per annum.

Campus Life

The infrastructure is good. New buildings are being constructed, AC classrooms are provided, Fully AC, labs ARVR lab, AICTE approved IDEA lab for the start-up. The sports complex is there where we have many competitions of cricket, kabaddi, etc.

Hostel Facilities

The hostel facilities are good. You have to be in restrictions but it's good for you only. Teachers are there on every floor. There are separate floors in charge, they kige along with you in a hostel, guide you through everything. Security is also good.

Hostel Fee: INR 82000 per year

Admission

There is not any entrance test. You can come and get the admission directly. There is one test conducted by the college for 100% scholarship known as the super 30 batch. You will get a scholarship for your 12th marks and you can get a scholarship on JEE rank also.

Interview Experience

During admission nothing is done, only counseling is done to tell about emerging technology like artificial intelligence, machine learning, and cyber security. So if you want to take admitted in any of the above fields then Piet is a good college for you.

There are placement opportunities on campus but most of them are for non tech roles . There are very few tech roles and that too are very much under paid. Iy 20 percent students gets placed on campus rest can opt for off campus placement

I have applied for IITs and NITs , but unfortunately I am not selected . So, I took admission in this college with the guidance of my counsellor who advised me to take admission in this college.
