Likes

The freedom to choose your faculty is a really good thing as the students can take the teachers they are comfortable with.
The mess food is really good and the cleaning staff ia also working nicely.

Dislikes

The incomplete infrastructure has a little impact on campus life which is not too big of a problem.

Course Curriculum Overview

The course is good with a lot of interesting information and knowledge. All the faculty have Doctorate so they are also really knowledgeable and helpful. We also receive the freedom to choose our faculty which is great. The term-end exams are not too difficult only if you study and pay attention in class.

Class Size: 70Course Fees: INR 198000 per year

Internships Opportunities

I have not done any internship yet but many MNCs provide offers to students for an internship which even gives PPO to students. There are many startup companies too which helps in gaining experience.

Placement Experience

The students get eligible for campus placement after 3rd year. Almost 500 companies participated in the campus placement with the highest package being around 75 LPA. The average package is around 8-9 LPA. Companies like Microsoft, TCS, etc. come for campus placement.

Fees and Financial Aid

The fee structure is good but it increases with the category. if you have cat 1 you will have 2 lakhs per year fee while for cat 2 it will be 3 lakhs approx. The college provides industrial internships and foreign exchange programs.

Campus Life

The infrastructure is in development phase but it will be complete soon. Overall the campus is ok with many club activities happening throughout the year. There are many sports events too providing opportunities for all the students.

Hostel Facilities

The hostels are good with surprisingly good food compared to other colleges hostel. The rooms are also good with the hostel faculty being a little strict. The hostel has an indoor badminton court and table tennis.

Hostel Fee: INR 120000 per year

Admission

Firstly you are supposed to give VITEEE which is the entrance exam for all the VIT Branches. After that, you receive your rank and have your choice filling according to the Category you get. If your category is high the fee will be higher and you might not get your preferred course if your rank is too high. The application form can be found on the VIT official website. The admission process is very smooth and easy for anyone.

After 6th semester you will Elligble for in campus placement and their are many internship and placement providing apps which are connected with our college like Internshala and our college also has own incubation center where students can brings their startup ideas and if they like your startup they will invest on it and student also got chance to get internship on that and got certificate and highest package is of 1.2 cr off campus and Average pacakge is of 5 to 6 lpa and their is basically 85 to 90% placement rate and my plan is to become ai ml engeener and grow in AI area

Placement Experience:

so in our college 1st year we have 2 semesters and n 2nd year we have 3 semesters and in 3rd year we have 3 semesters so 8 semesters already get completed and students are eligible to sit in placement from 3rd year . You can get internships in 3rd year as well if you have good grades and you are ready to grind . Talking about companies that visit for placements are Delloite , JP morgan Palo alto, De shaw and Co. My plan is to just have good gpa and get job asap

Placement Experience:

there are not much chances of placement as the student strength has increased drastically, students become eligible for placement from 3rd year, also as per the documentations there are more than 12z companies like hcltech, microsoft etc but not every documentation is correct so the chances of getting placed at campus is significantly low so i am planning to pursue higher studies and opting for gate

Placement Experience:

You become eligible to sit for placements in 7th semester , that is , in your 4th year. There are companies like Google, Amazon, Deloitte, Accenture, Axxela, American Express, BNY Melon, Adobe , Goldman Sachs, Samsung, Optum, Oracle, etc. But in other IITs which are also 2nd generation, more companies (around 50) comes for on campus placements . The highest pay is mostly for Software development and Quant roles. Last year it was around 1 Cr per annum of a Computer Science student which is really great. And the average package was around 25-26 Lakhs per annum. Last year , around 88% of all students including B.tech and M.tech got placed with decent salary.

Life at MITS , Gwalior

Placement Experience:

The Placament in MITS are decent, especially for the computer science and IT branches , with companies like TCS, wipro, infosys visiting regularly. Average packages range from ?3.5 to ? 6 lpa , and some students get higher offer from off campus drives. Overall, the T&P cell of Mits gives every details for the companies coming.

other college i applied were vssut , jaypee noida , cutr, silicon but i choose vit bhopal because i wanted to study outside my state and bhopal was closer . So admission process is you have to give an exam called vitee and to get in to vit bhopal in category you gotta have rank under 45K to study in cse core branch and for AIML branch you need rank under 55K and for studying in Cyber security and cloud computing it should be under 70K . if you get anything above 70k its hard to land in a good cse branch under category 1 fees....Read More
