A journey worth sharing

After classes gets over , no students is allowed to be in college or campus fir any reason.. If we stand in a place and talk with our friends the security will ask us to go or if the calls and talk. It should be removed , because college is the only place all friends will be there and do some extra activities.

I wrote KCET entrance test I.e Karnataka common entrance test. I got this college by KCET . Im interested in robotics as well as Electrical. So I took Mechatronics. Subject of my choice but college is not good. And there is no any interview process for admissions.. Pay the amount get the seat..

The coarse that I have chosen is good. But it is very old. Now a days we are using LEDs display , but in college we are learning still about old and outdated cathode ray displays. The scheme is changing only for means of examination , but the topics , subjects are still the same , they are following baba Adams test books and asking us to read that. But when we see in normal world is just been outdated. Practicals learning is only based on the subject , That to in 3 or 4 equipment 40 students should do. In that it's helpful only for those who are doing., others will just copy the values and complete their experiments . No research initiatives taken by college , but once in a semester out year they will keep some guest lectures which are up to date but the person who is giving that lecture will just say something and go. They are not able to interact with students. Some times workshops will be conducted but only for those students who pay. Till now they have just planned to conduct a workshop in basic of robots configuration. But not yet done.

College will not provide any internships. Students should search for internships and get it done. And no extra attendance will be given to complete the internships. Internships should be done by students in their holidays or bunking the classes.

Placement is waste in our college. Maximum 2 to 3 companies may come and atleast only 2 % Of student in jobs.. The major companies that come to our college is snapdeal , amazon , mahindra , bosch etc... Average package might be less than 6.5 lakhs per annum..

No college will not do any events.. We students from our departments took the initiative and started an association representing or department . College didn't funded us for competition , all the students from all years in Mechatronics department continued 500 per head and continued the association..

The fees is affordable by a normal person.. It's something about 62,910/. Since I got from KCET. If u take direct admission it may costs about 2 lakhs per year.

No. College will provide scholarships only to SC and st category. Yea they help in getting loan from banks or other organisation only by giving study certificate.

Yes they will provide us the floor to sources our talents by some exhibitions , project expo, Seminars etc... No help in terms of budget.. We should invest and completed the project.

No I'm not residing in hostel. They are no single room but 2 or 3 or4 sharing rooms.. 3 bath rooms and 4 toilets for one full floor which has atleast 15 rooms.. No they don't have pg's , some of friends ar es living in pg's near to college , but not provided by college.. The food is same daily , it includes rice , dal chapati , some side dish , papad etc.. Non veg is only on Sundays I.e biriyani . It's costs 88 thousand per year . There's a separate hostel for 1st year and separate for other others year students..

I have good interaction with our alumni. But the didn't provide a proper platform for student- alumni interaction. The college didn't even facilitate the alumni, in return the alumni also don't do anything for college. When we ask to then they will say , we studied by our own , don't wait or believe teachers for completing the topics.

It's too much tiering . In a month 3 weeks classes and 3 days test in last week.. They will do only 1 module but ask us to write 2 modules or more to write for internal test . They will conduct 3 intervals fir 40 marks , in which average of 2 best intervals in taken only for 15 marks for externals. And 5 marks for assignments.. For 5 marks they will give questions , but answers will cover the whole text book...

Some teachers are good at teaching , but most of the teachers don't know what they are teaching. The explanation is not at all good by doge teachers. They will just draw the diagram on board and ask us think yourself and understand what is that topic. Is done by 90% of teachers. It's a big headache. The teachers voice will be so loud , by listening her own voice in the form of echo , they will say - be quite to students. It's so irritating.. By setting the behavior and teaching of teachers, if i come by intention to study to college, we will get frustrated and do mass bunk.
