VIT bhopal Honest Review

I chose Btech in computer science and engineering as I always wanted to go into the field of technology. The faculty of VIT Bhopal as mentioned on the website is 100% doctoral faculty. It means the faculty is very well qualified. And this is true also. The teacher and the staff all are very nice and patient. Talking about the term exams, per semester there are 2 examinations. One is the mid-term and the other one is the term-end. Examination level to be very honest is just about moderate. The notes of your subject teacher and what they teach in the class are more than sufficient to actually get a good grade.

Companies that offer internships include Barclays, Microsoft, Krypto, Infosys, etc. They offer roles of Web development, software developers, front end developers, Backend developers, Full stack developers etc.

The placement percentage of students getting placed in Vit is around 90%. Companies that visit our campus include companies like Microsoft, barclays, krpto etc. The highest package offered at VIT Bhopal is 59 lakhs and is by Krypto. The average package is around 6 lakhs per annum. My plan after getting the degree is to get a placement in a good company like Microsoft.

As VIT is a private college, the fees are obviously not affordable. But considering the fact that they have their fees category thing which is based on the rank you get in your viteee exam. Like, I am in category 1 of BTech CSE so my tuition fee per annum is 2lakhs. While on the other hand, my friend is in cat 3 which makes his fees 4 lakhs per annum. So if we take that into consideration, getting a good rank in viteee can make you an edge over others.

adVITya is the annual fest which is conducted every year in the month of January. There are quite many books in the library. Talking about the classrooms, the seats are quite comfy. And the classroom infrastructure is also quite good. There are almost all the sports available. There are also many clubs. And yearly you have to be a part of at least 2 clubs which are student run. Like I'm a part of the IOS club.

I live in the hostel. Hostels are quite fine. But the main problem with the Vit Bhopal campus is their online and offline thing going on because of the lack of hostels. As the campus is not too old, so it's still in the development phase. The food if I talk about the girl's hostel its good. But on the other hand boys' hostel is not that good.

My admission was through viteee exam. The admission was based on the rank that I received in the viteee exam. The application form comes on the website every year. Application form fees as per I remember are 1350. It may vary from year to year. The form is usually released in the month around February end. After filling out the form, exam dates are released and you can choose your exam centre according to your preference. Then after a while viteee results are released. In which marks scored are not specified only the rank is made available. After that, we have to go through the online counselling process. And based on our preferences of the course selected and also our rank and availability the seats in the available courses are allotted to us.
