Likes

I really like the faculties and the overall academics
The classes are good and the people studying are also good
The seniors are really helpful and supportive too

Dislikes

There is no social life in the college.
The fests are really bad and the culbs have no funds
It is very strict for a college and has some lame rules

Course Curriculum Overview

The course curriculum is average and the faculties are really good although some of the faculties are not that good and do not give you marks etc All the faculties in our college are doctorate that is with PhD degrees there are two examinations in the semester midterm and the term end it is quite easy to pass

Class Size: 70Course Fees: INR 198000 per year

Fees and Financial Aid

The fee structure is good than the other private colleges although in the last few categories are 4 and 5, the fees are really more and it's not affordable. The scholarship is available and applicable through the VITEEE exams and board topper

Campus Life

Infrastructure is average as the college is under development and the Library has sufficient books too but there is no availability of hostels and our batch is sent for online classes for one semester there is no social life in the college it has very strict rules for a college and to leave college for an outing we need to take a bunch of permissions and mostly we don't even get permission there are 48 clubs in the college most of them being not very active

Hostel Facilities

The room has most of the facilities you need in a hostel but there is no availability of hostels and there are no PG in the locality so we have been sent for online classes for one semester because of unavailability of hostels

Hostel Fee: INR 134000 per year

Admission

There is an entrance exam called VITEEE which is an MCQ exam similar to JEE the eligibility for the course was a minimum of 60% in the 12th board the application fees were 1300 an improvement which I want to see in the admission process is it to be more transparent we were not shared the answers nor the answer sheets nor the marks we got

After 6th semester you will Elligble for in campus placement and their are many internship and placement providing apps which are connected with our college like Internshala and our college also has own incubation center where students can brings their startup ideas and if they like your startup they will invest on it and student also got chance to get internship on that and got certificate and highest package is of 1.2 cr off campus and Average pacakge is of 5 to 6 lpa and their is basically 85 to 90% placement rate and my plan is to become ai ml engeener and grow in AI area

so in our college 1st year we have 2 semesters and n 2nd year we have 3 semesters and in 3rd year we have 3 semesters so 8 semesters already get completed and students are eligible to sit in placement from 3rd year . You can get internships in 3rd year as well if you have good grades and you are ready to grind . Talking about companies that visit for placements are Delloite , JP morgan Palo alto, De shaw and Co. My plan is to just have good gpa and get job asap

there are not much chances of placement as the student strength has increased drastically, students become eligible for placement from 3rd year, also as per the documentations there are more than 12z companies like hcltech, microsoft etc but not every documentation is correct so the chances of getting placed at campus is significantly low so i am planning to pursue higher studies and opting for gate

Placement Experience:

You become eligible to sit for placements in 7th semester , that is , in your 4th year. There are companies like Google, Amazon, Deloitte, Accenture, Axxela, American Express, BNY Melon, Adobe , Goldman Sachs, Samsung, Optum, Oracle, etc. But in other IITs which are also 2nd generation, more companies (around 50) comes for on campus placements . The highest pay is mostly for Software development and Quant roles. Last year it was around 1 Cr per annum of a Computer Science student which is really great. And the average package was around 25-26 Lakhs per annum. Last year , around 88% of all students including B.tech and M.tech got placed with decent salary.

Life at MITS , Gwalior

Placement Experience:

The Placament in MITS are decent, especially for the computer science and IT branches , with companies like TCS, wipro, infosys visiting regularly. Average packages range from ?3.5 to ? 6 lpa , and some students get higher offer from off campus drives. Overall, the T&P cell of Mits gives every details for the companies coming.

other college i applied were vssut , jaypee noida , cutr, silicon but i choose vit bhopal because i wanted to study outside my state and bhopal was closer . So admission process is you have to give an exam called vitee and to get in to vit bhopal in category you gotta have rank under 45K to study in cse core branch and for AIML branch you need rank under 55K and for studying in Cyber security and cloud computing it should be under 70K . if you get anything above 70k its hard to land in a good cse branch under category 1 fees....Read More
