Library is awesome. More number of books are available.
Lab facilites are good. We can use the lab whenever we need them.
Faculties are fantastic. They will teach us properly

Ground could have been better. Hostel ground can be maintained properly

Course Curriculum Overview

Everyone is well experienced. Lab facilities are awesome. The syllabus is well framed. Placements are sure and guaranteed. Faculties will treat students well. No problem with the curriculum. All doubts will be clarified by staff well in class and even in person.

In the pre-final year, many companies will arrive for internships. For example, Texas instruments came last year and selected students for internship. For software, companies like Amazon, phonepe, etc will come for internships.

Placement Experience

Placement is awesome every year. Many companies will come. More core companies and plenty of software companies will arrive. There will be good placements throughout the year. Training like software, non-software, and managerial skills development will be given from the second year.

Fees and Financial Aid

The fee structure will be 80000 per year. You can avail of different scholarships like government scholarships, vallalar scholarships, pragathi scholarships, alumni scholarships etc. The placement is awesome. It is improving each and every year.

Campus Life

Events will be conducted in a good manner. For Odd semester, we have intrems - a grand cultural event where students will showcase their talents. Also, many technical fests like Srishti, kriya, and the atom will be conducted. For even the semester, hostel day will be celebrated. For sports, there is a separate centre of excellence. So sports will be given extra care. Many students club like IEEE, EEEA, students unions etc are there.

Hostel Facilities

The hostel facility is amazing in college. The food is awesome. A good menu is followed there. Parents can also eat when they visit their children. The hostel is good with timing restrictions. So safety for all is ensured. The hospital is also there so no problem if we get sick. They will take care.

Hostel Fee: INR 80000 per year

Admission

I entered this college through Engineering counselling. You have to apply for engineering counselling and wait for the rank list. If you get into the first round of counselling, then most of the courses will be available for you. Cut off above 190 is appreciable for all courses. Since it is a tier 1 college, competition is heavy.

Is VIT worth it

Placement Experience:

Placements in VIT UNIVERSITY is very good the average package is 8 lakhs and the Highest may go upto 1 crore every year.There is a separate placement cell in VIT chennai and they give you placement training from start of the third year. Many multinational companies like google, microsoft etc comes to VIT to pick students for their company. Almost 98 percent of the students gets places in VIT. After my degree I choose to sit for placements.

I had applied psg,cit,thapar I got confirmed from these three but the main reason I choose psg is course curriculum and the internship it will help you to gain good knowledge and place in good company so comparing other colleges psg is better The admission process of my course there is 4 courses of 5years integrated msc (ds,cs,ss,tcs ) To join in these there are 3rounds 1.12th percentage 2.entrance exam. 3.interview Your 12th score is must be more than 85 The entrance exam is based on 11th and 12th mathmatics And the interview has some technical questions and mathmatics Iam not feared about 1st and 2nd round because my 12th score is very good and Iam well in mathmatics but the 3rd interview round was very good experience for me I had a good chance to prove my skills I had little fear after completing I got 3rd position in the entrance exam Finally it was a great experience for me...Read More
