The institute website Does not show the kind of research that is going on the Institute. So you need to go to professors profile to check what he has been working on and talk to them directly to get some assistance in working in your area of interest. The course is structured in a manner that will make you capable of knowing the history as well the present scenario What the industry is needed these days.

College Events

4

Technozion and springspree are two big feasts.technozion is considered as biggest technical fest in south India.in summer time there will be some workshops on some topics. The campus encourages all round development of the student.

Fee Structure And Facilities

The fees was affordable. Tuition fees - 35,500 per semester, plus mess and hostel due.the mess and hostel fees also affordable.

Fees and Financial Aid

There is no scholarship program but government is providing some fees reimbursement programs for economically backward students.

Campus Life

4.5

When it comes to extracurriculars the college won't step back it truly encourages students in bringing them in the talent. The facilities are good.

Hostel Facilities

4

Hostel and mess infrastructure is world class and best among any technical Institute in country. Exit 1800 capacity hostel with 700 students capacity at its best hostels. Old hostels are also very good and have a high-quality interior. There is no problem in food it's good.

Alumni/Alumna

Till now I haven't had any interaction with the alumni network but you seem to find them soon when you complete your course as the alumni network is widespread at workplaces.

Exam Structure

There will be four written exams in one semester which include two minor of 10 marks, one made of 30 and ends Simister exam of 50. At the near end of semester It is a bit as we have our lab exams, please, viva exam in the very next week. The level of the question paper Will be a bit difficult.

Faculty

4.5

The faculty team is very qualified with most of them having completed their PhD in their respective courses. They are very helpful in making the subjects to learn easily by providing various reference materials and useful lectures. The student to faculty ratio is one faculty member per 10 students which is a good One. The students are exposed to various industry related studies and are well known to such environments.

Placement Experience:

From 4th sem itself students are eligible for placements. Although students get access to paid internships from their 1st year itself, just they need some effort. But as NIAT is yet new and no batch has passed out yet so we still don't have the exact placement percentage rate. But as we are getting paid internships from 1st year itself so it's very evident that placement would also be good

Course Curriculum Overview:

My college course curriculum is outdated .As im studying in computer science and engineering,i wpuld love to study about technological aspects and grow as a software engineering but in the course curriculam they teach my about mechanical workshops,There were no practical experience it jsut understanding the concept with theoritical part . i would love lo code but my college wastes entire time by helping with electricals, meachanical basics. i dont think is it really necessary for me understand in all the feilds they think that student should perform in all the fields as im in computer science and engineering student ,They should teach me more about coding and computer ,how it industries works and how these technology enhacning ,the arenot even explore about all these sectos they only teaching me about fundametals of all the subjects which is never useful for my studies . as i am in final year of btech i thought learning and deepdiving into computerscience and engineering subjects is more greater than learning all sector fundamentals,The area they need to improve is removing some of the oudated syllabus from their ciricullum and enhcing with the pratical experience not to teach only theoritical part. they have to teach all the areas with realtime examples. The timings of exams is very good .we do have 2 mid exams and one semester final exams for each sem and the subjects feels meduim level difficulty

Students become eligible for campus placements after their 6th semester. The companies start visiting in 7th and 8th semesters. The companies are not much good and are mostly service based. So the placement statistics are also not much good. The highest placement last year was 10 lpa and the median placement was around 4.1 lpa. The placements were starting from 2.5 lpa. The better option for students is to apply for off-campus placements or start preparing for competitive exams
