Course Curriculum Overview
I was a student of Department of Information Technology, and the Department of IT is extremely supportive. If anyone has a passion to learn, KJSIT and especially Department of IT, is the best place. You'll get amazing mentor and guide. The Head of the Department, is the best guide one could ever get. She encourages students to pursue research and project oriented learning and appreciates participation in competition and innovation for societal contribution. Almost all the faculties are PHD and teaching methodology is a combination of traditional classroom learning backed by modern methodologies of e-learning. Being an Autonomous Institute, KJSIT has the privilege of designing it's own curriculum and the curriculum syllabus is mainly centered around new industry trends and requirements. So most of the engineers graduating from KJSIT are industry ready upon their graduation.
Placement Experience
Placements start in the 7th semester. Companies such as Jio, Accenture, Cognizant, Media.net, Seclore, IDFC first bank, etc visited this year for campus placement. The highest package offered was 13.8 LPA and the average package was around 4.5 LPA. More than 95% of students have been placed. After graduation, I'll be joining Jio as a Graduate Engineer Trainee
Fees and Financial Aid
Fees usually remain almost the same throughout the 4 years as you took admission in the first year. Usually, a hike of 5 thousand per year is applied. There is much financial assistance available for economically weak students.
Campus Life
Usually, 3 festivals are celebrated in KJSIT - Renaissance, the technical festival, conducted in the odd semester Surge, the cultural festival & Score, the sports festival in the even semester. The library has all the required books along with extra novels and fantasy books as well as self-improvement, literature books. There are a ton of technical committees and clubs run by students, such as CSI, IEEE, IEI, etc. NSS, Institution's Innovation Council. Students have a lot of opportunities to improve their leadership, communication, and self-presentation through these clubs and cells.
