Likes

Things I liked are the students here(some only).
The infrastructure is old but it is great too. The campus is beautiful having lots of greenery.
The placements are also one of the things that i like here.

Dislikes

I also disliked the 75% attendance criteria here.
I also disliked not having outlets in the campus.

Course Curriculum Overview

I chose college over course so this is the course I was getting based on my rank in this college (IIT BHU). The professors here are quite good and dedicated to teaching their subjects. The student-faculty ratio here is an average of 1:100.

Internships Opportunities

Almost all good tech companies like Google, Microsoft, Amazon etc. Come here to provide internship opportunities. Internship opportunities are provided to 3rd-year students by the college. The stipend is pretty good too if you're doing an internship in a good company. It depends on the company.

Placement Experience

The placement here is quite good. Since hardworking students come here they know what they have to do in life. There are many inspirational people here. We get to learn a lot from them. My plan is to get placed in a company after college.

Fees and Financial Aid

Fees here in my opinion are a lot. There is no fee waiver for students whose family earns more than 5 lacs per annum. Students whose family earns less than that get a fee waiver. Also, these students and sc/st students get different types of scholarships and fee waivers.

Campus Life

Life on campus is quite good. The only problem is we don't have any good outlets here on campus. The fests here are good too but the management and administration team are so good to handle them. The library is good too you can get any book related to the curriculum here. Almost all sports facility is provided here too.

Hostel Facilities

Hostels are not so good here. We get 3 seater rooms in 1st and 2nd year and double seater from 3rd year onwards. The conditions of the hostel are not so great since the infrastructure is old. The new hostels are good. Mess is sometimes okay and sometimes not.

Hostel Fee: INR 100000 per year

Admission

I gave an exam called JEE MAINS Clearing and I became eligible to give JEE ADVANCED (JEE-Joint Entrance Examination). Upon clearing JEE ADVANCED too I became eligible for admission to IITs (Indian Institute of Technology). Since I was an OBC candidate I availed some reservation benefits too.

Placement Experience:

Form the beginning of very first year students are eligible for the campus placements. TCS, cognizant, wipro, are the some companies visited here. Highest package is 44 lpa in amazon which is off campus for software role. Placements % is quite medium if you are serious about skill then you will be get a path here to go ahead. Arround 60 to 70 is the placement % My plans after getting degree is to get a job.

GLA University Mathura is Great!

Placement Experience:

Average package at GLA University may range between 5-7 lakhs but one student has managed to get placements of 55 lakhs and that is still the record placement from GLA University campus Mathura. Around 70-75% students are placed every year but I will be preparing for GATE as my ambition are to be atleast post graduate if not a PHD.

Good for learning and Skill development

Placement Experience:

Mostly te 6th sem (3rd year) got eligible for campus placement. Amazon, Accenture, AVL India, Atlan and many others (about 900+) visited and made 4000+ offers. The ave. package is about 5.25 LPA and highest crossed 39 LPA. Above 60%+ got their placement and the persentage of students receiving multiple offer is about 32%. After degrre want to build a strong carrer and to contribute in the grouth of Bharat.

Placement Experience:

The placements are average But all the students here focus on off campus placements because the in campus placements are very average. Like you'll get a placement of ?6 lakhs or seven lakhs, depending on your CV.

Honest Opinion on IIIT ALLAHABAD

Placement Experience:

From 4th semester, many students get into the internship and many gets further preplacement through it. The companies visted are google, atlassian, flipkart, qualcomm, samsung, phone pe etc. Highest package is 1.21CR per annum. Average package is 30LPA 90% students got placed. Private job is the plan after getting the degree. 90% students gets placed.

Placements are quiet low at bbditm. The average package of 4lakh approx and the highest upto 15 lpa . The highest package is from the computer science branch. But number Of placements are low. But there is also number of placements in other branches.

So entry in IIT BHU was through JEE ADVANCE. I gave the examination and got an All India Rank(AIR) of 7533. Then I had Josaa counselling where I had to select colleges according to my priorities. So one of the many colleges I filled was IIT BHU(4 Year B.TECH Chemical Branch). The distribution of colleges is purely based on your ranks. Higher rankers will be prefferd above you.
