Based on my grade 12th score, I got admission in our college.During admission process attended a interview by our college and I choose literature.

Creative writing has been a happy part of my life. Since I first learned to hold a pencil, that's the reason I choose literature and want to explore the world of literature. Ambition to become a journalist made me focus more. There are eight researches currently at Farook College- Arabic, English, statics,Computer Science,Physics,Chemistry and History. Department of Computer Science is the sole research centre offering PhD course in Computer Science among the government and aided arts and science colleges in Kerala.

Internship are provided for some other departments like IT,journalism and so on. Most of the time the internships are done by students in their own risk so that amount varies.

College not directly placing students instead during the last days of college. Institution guides student for their and conduct seminars,workshops and interaction sessions.

During my college we conducted many program may be begins from a freshers day to farewell there are bunch of events. We value for the democracy and we conduct college election followed by inauguration of union by celebrity, arts forum,sports day,teachers day,environment day, National Service Scheme and focus in charity.

As our college is under govt those who are in merit are free from fees while some management seats have fee from 10,000- 25,000.

Students we got admission in merit are free from college academic fee the also if students are eligible they will be favoured by Scholarship provided by Government.

The College offers a lot of avenues to equip the students to sharpen their interpersonal skills and leadership qualities. Achievements of students in various co-curricular activities are available like NSS, NCC and many more. My college teaches me life is unpredictable. Might be good, bad, or even weird. Learn to sit through a boring lecture. Academics never let us go free and the learning never ends. Performed role of student, teacher during seminars, vocalist, rebel, dancer many more.

Our college own 3 girls hostel and 2 boys hostel around campus, stayed 3 years of my graduation. Yearly we have to pay 20,000 while I was there and fee wavier for students from down level. Rooms are shared by students. In each room there will be a PG students.Kerala food served there.

FAROOK COLLEGE OLD STUDENTS' ASSOCIATION was formed in 1971, the Association aims at fostering and perpetuating friendship and co-operation among the alumni,through publications,informed group meeting and through other means. The Association seeks to further the social literary and cultural interest of the college by maintaining an active channel of communication between the college and alumni.Farook College Old Students‟ Association (FOSA) is very active providing unstinting support in every respect in the process of the growth and expansion of the institution. The Association has been rendering meticulous support and cooperation for the all round development of the College. FOSA has also undertaken several major developmental projects to be completed in the near future The Association is functioning in India and abroad. Apart from district wise Chapters in Kerala, it also have a chapter at Delhi and Bangalore. FOSA chapters are functioning in Dubai, Qatar, Jeddah, Abudhabi, Kuwait, Damam, and Bahrain in GCC region and in UK and United States in the West.

Exams that never leave a student alone. We also faced semester exams, internals and so on. It got fed up sometimes with this syllabus.

There are 26 department in our college and approximately there are 300 staff who are qualified NET Exam and some are completed their researches. We have bunch of experienced staffs in all departments
