Course Curriculum Overview

I personally choose this course because I had a great interest in chemistry. The faculties at VIT are quite good they are well-qualified and experienced. Their teaching methods are also inspiring. There are 3 exams in one term namely CAT 1, CAT 2, and term exam. CAT 1 is a usual unit test type exam, CAT 2 is an open book exam which is difficult to crack, and the term exam is as usual term exam type. They provide equal importance for experimental studying as theoretical studying. We have many projects assigned in each term.

Class Size: 60Course Fees: INR 60000 per year

Fees and Financial Aid

Fees structure I felt is a little bit high as compared to other colleges but the quality of studies and rest the development is good. I have not applied for any scholarship so I have less idea about that but I know that scholarship is available at VIT University.

Campus Life

There are many fest and programmes conducted in our college. Riviera is the name of the annual fest conducted in our college during Feb- March month it's a wonderful event and also there are many small fest going on throughout the year. We have a huge library available in our college with lots of books and journals and a silent& peaceful place to study. There are many clubs and groups in our college and many more exciting things in our college.

Hostel Facilities

There are different types of rooms in our hostel like 2, 4, and 6 bedded rooms with A/c and Non A/c according to our choices. The food provided is also categorised as NorthIndian veg or non-veg / South Indian veg or non-veg/Special mess so according to the choices meals are provided, quality of food is quite good as compared to other college hostels. There are also PG rooms available near our college for rent, but it's better to stay in a hostel for the 1st year then you may look out for PGs.

Hostel Fee: INR 40000 per year

Admission

There is no entrance exam. The admission process is based on the bachelor's degree marks. If the seats of the opted course Are full then you have to opt for some other course. Application forms, application fees and dates are available online.

Placement Experience:

From the last previous semester, students can avail themselves of campus interviews. Students who have Harriers are not given opportunities because it's in the companies criteria. Cognizant, Zoho, Infosys, Wipro. Every year at least 10 students get selected. Average is 10,000-15,000 per month 10-15% of students getting placed. I plan to study for competitive exams like UPSC.

The only college i applied was VIT .i applied in DKM college just as an Last option. I was not rejected from another college as I didn't applied for any college.
