College life

We have 5 lecturers for this semester all are of middle aged 30-45 and everyone are MPhil and PhD holders. They are up to date on the subject and some possesses relevant knowledge and experience in the field of the subject they handle. Whereas some lecturers are very bookish and not up to that level.

As college students, we were not allowed to accept internships that are stipends. But we sure did gain knowledge about work life. The final years will be given to do their project work and a viva-vote will be conducted.

In our college, they provide placements and job opportunities. yes, they also provide project internships. This is a new experience I have never seen because of the 30 days I have done my internship in the company. that is just awesome.

I had applied for a scholarship earlier but I haven't been chosen for the scholarship. I applied for it in the first year but I was not selected. the second year students are given information about internships regularly by the placement cell and interested students can enroll themselves.

Competitions are there based on both curriculum and Extracurricular activities. Debates are also organized at regular intervals. They are all organized in such a good way. There will be sports day every year which makes us shine in the sports field too.

I am actually very interested in psychology and the fee structure here is really moderate compared to the other Colleges in the city. As it is in the center of the city, traveling time can be reduced. I applied online and waited for counseling. The counseling call will be based on academic performance I was on the merit list and the procedures were very simple. An interview will be conducted after which I had to pay the fee and hold the seat by submitting my original mark sheet and transfer certificate. The fee structure is feasible compared to the other colleges in the city. While other colleges charge 100000 per year, we are being charged 70000 per year. We have to pay the fee through a semester-oriented system. For each semester 35000 is charged as tuition fee and other than that 2500 is charged as exam fee and culture fee, sports day fee, and farewell fee.
